Bob getting a little choked up talking about his baby boy having the same memories as him on trips was so sweet. It’s nice to see the love a father has for his son.
A comment on another of these pointed out something I hadn't noticed before. Wade throws in a lot of jokes and puns that others don't notice. They're hilarious and on point.
thats why he seems to be aging faster than the others, hes aging in real time but visiting other time periods then returning to the present, so a year for him could be a few minutes for us
For me it's an airplane. Specifically an Airdrome Aeroplanes kit plane. They make modern day replicas of World War 1 planes. The kits are extremely reasonably priced for what they are. $15k USD for the airframe and fabric covering (engine, prop, dials and such are extra) I called them up and asked about designing a replica Sopwith Triplane. Apparently because they only had three people in 30 years ask about this plane they never bothered to produce it. BUT... they'd be willing to work with me to produce it, but it would cost a extra $10K USD, which is reasonable. This shit takes time, and time is money. I'm in Canada. The exchange rate is horrible right now. $1USD = $1.44 CAD which adds up, especially into the thousands of dollars range. So it's already worse than we were expecting. Plus shipping, plus import fees, plus whatever tax. And there's a time limit. The owner has been considering retirement. So... It's gone from "Yeah we can manage this. Just gotta be careful." to "This won't work." I've been obsessed with aviation since I can remember. I have stacks of model kits, I go to air shows, hell even my wife wants to fly. So... I still think it's worth the money, we just don't have the money.
Right now I'm in the process of building a Transformers tabletop RPG and the biggest expenses are the miniatures and terrain. But if I ever complete it, all the time and money I put into it would be very worth it.
I'm having such a crazy shock moment. My family ALSO had a Geo Tracker, which we towed behind our RV. Did... did we have the same childhood? Lol. And I also thought about that Geo Tracker a lot and how I haven't seen one in so long and wish I had it.
Man you know the most exorbitant but worth every penny thing to me would be either of the RB20s from the 2024 Formula 1 season. There are only two and each will likely only be sold under rare circumstances but I would pay anything for just a single one of those cars. I'm not a massive Redbull fan but the RB20 made me fall in love with engineering and regain my love for engineering. Plus it's a really fast and really cool car even if it's not street legal.
I would spend $11k that I was quoted for a custom wheelchair that suits all of my needs, and wants. Get the color I want, the wheels and spokes, the lightest frame possible, a fold up foot plate, smooth caster wheels, a high quality seat cushion, a power drive attachment, a batek attachment, extendable push handles, scissor brakes, etc.
Also Bob talking about Subarus blowing up hits so close to home lol. I put less than 3k miles on my Impreza and am currently replacing the entire engine 😂
50:33 i just dont understand this apple obsession that many people have, like just statistically speaking, among all of the most popular companies and their flagship phones, apple's phones are just the worst, to me they are and always will be a waste of money.
I hear these clowns go on about having 7 chili cheese dogs for breakfast regularly and they have the temerity to be surprised at how many toilets their houses have 😓
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for kislux , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, itâs your choice. No judgement from me
This is so sad because we know LV canvas gets thinner over time but Goyardâs canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to own a coated canvas kislux bag is that it is lightweight and indestructible
Why would someone who has been buying from the brand for years or even decades suddenly have to pay 50-60% more for the exact same item? Inflation cannot justify this. It's like the brand is deceiving the consumer. On kislux , the bags sold are priced lower but of higher quality, so you might as well go there.
Itâs not that I'm bothered by people buying dupes or fakes, but if I invest my hard earned money into that item, I wouldnât want to buy that brand, or bag, or design and find something more than fit into my needs and wants as kislux . And nothing is wrong with that.
Spending $20,000 on a tote bag is the obvious choice, rather than spending $200 on a kislux bag and investing the remaining $19,800 since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to increase in value.
I purchased an kislux bag in 2022, and I can confirm that it is very high quality. The owners were very nice, too! I may purchase another bag from them the next time!
“Thousand cringe stare” is absolutely entering my lexicon now, thank you Wade 😂

You can really hear it in Bob's voice how much he loves his family and how important they are to him!
I also have a very intense obsession but instead of getting to be on a cool podcast, I have to go to the clinic for an autism exam.
Why not both?
Love getting a glimpse at wade being an interdimensional being that's trying to hide behind a dumb mask

Markiplier magic touch had me dead

As much as I love the hell out of cats, Magic Touch was SO much better than Meow!

I buy used luxury bags, cars, diamonds and pearls. So I always save money on travel, investments, etc., thanks to kislux .
Mark, calm tf down. You'd think they were threatening to do something to your family because they aren't as passionate about objects as you. Christ.
First!
