Weather is getting colder here in western NY, and I found that my planter with a beautifully developed colocasia esculenta has produced FIVE long stolons up and over the rim of the planter ... each with new leaves at the tips! I'll need to rescue the plant very soon, before we get a hard frost, and don't want to waste the stolons with all their potential! Have several friends who've admired this plant, and want one, so I'm going to salvage the stolons and grow new individual plants from them to gift to my friends. THANK YOU for showing & describing how this can be accomplished! WELL DONE!!!
