Am I the only one who noticed that after the king ordered for his mother to be killed, the crown prince very rarely called him "father" and mostly addressed him as "Your Majesty"?
she wasnt dumb. i can see wisdom from the way she speaks. but unfortunately, she was from the namin faction. where all about dong yi were bad. the first person she met after entering the palace was a baddie and more, she was too young.
Actually in history, queen inwon really protected prince yuning as her own son, securing him to ascend the throne as king yeongjo., 4 years after the reign of prince yun or gyeongjong
An add on, she protected Geum for the 4 important years of strife and allowed him to successfully take the throne after his brother when Dong Yi died a few years prior ^^ she was great, in my opinion
She loved Dong Yi as true friend and Yuning as true son, she even outlived most of the people in her time, she became Dowager Queen after Yun became King, then Grand Dowager Queen after Yeoning got crowned and lived even until Prince Sado’s Tragedy
It's funny how the queen suddenly looked much more pretty after she became Dong Yi's ally. It seems like they purposely messed up her makeup to demonize her. I almost didn't recognize our beautiful Oh Seon Yeo here!
thats what i thought while watching this drama. you can see the difference between the protagonists and the antagonists. but one thing i realized, the expressions of heebin when she was good and she was bad were different. same goes for the new queen. i tried to figure it out. i think the color of powder, cheek blush, and eye make up played big parts for it.

I think he was in his sixties when he marry her(I might be wrong), and as far as I know most men at that age need viagra to make their you know to stand up. They didn’t have viagra then.

It was inwon and Gyeongjong (Crown Prince here) to a lesser extent who kept Yeongjo safe from the murderous New west for the 4 years when Gyeongjong was King.n
So does that mean the Queen could still have a child even if she adopted Yuning or no? (I know that she didn't have children in real life) But I'm just curious :) x
