1. I feel like this is only slightly more than you can expect from an edm singer becoz theyre famous for using heaps of vocal effects, but honestly idk.
2. Even if she isnt a great vocalist, she definitely knows how to fake confidence on stage, like you can tell shes sorta faking it but she kinda gives off groovy vibes idek how to describe this.
3. She's clearly capable, her range is amazing. Maybe she needs a little coaching.
4. Her vocals go well with the instrumentals, I'm talking about her timbre, not rhythm. I know shes not perfectly on beat in this one.
5. She couldve been sick during this performance, you never know.

This year I fell in love with someone that used to be my friend, I never let anyone to have a high level of intimacy with me, It’s just too overwhelming. I let him because I trusted him dearly, and in a few weeks he disappeared from my life, without saying a word. I felt so bad. This song really describes how I feel and felt. I’m not scared of love, but I am of people, especially when they never understand how important are bonds to me. I don’t open my heart often.
Now I’m willing to fall in love again, but I know it’s gonna take some time. :)

i remember feeling so so empty after going through something tough n kinda traumatic for me that messed my mind up n trust bc of a ‘friend’ i grew incredibly close to at the time.. then finding raye and she filled my heart with joy, i actually felt something for the first time again n felt like i could love. and it was her who i found, that i loved. i was finding comfort in watching her interviews every day without knowing, or listening to her songs when i was down. whether that was in a bathroom stall between classes or on the bus home, i always had her playing or a thought abt her in the back of my mind. then i found out that i was able to actually go & see her since she was performing at a concert near.. well- near enough, to me. i spent basically majority of the money i had been saving to go and see her. asked my bestfriend of 6 years to come with me, nd of course he said yes. he likes one song of hers nd that’s enough to know abt her ig.. 😂 so that’s what made it happen. a train ticket. a phone call. a concert ticket. and just like that, i was there, she was there, i was filled with adrenaline n couldn’t stop shaking once she first ran onto stage. i was seeing the woman who i feel so safely connected to, through her art, her music, and in that personality that i adore. there in that room were the two most important people to me, my bestfriend and raye. it was the most fulfilling n comforting thing for me that i’ve experienced and i’m glad i got it to happen. it made me so happy. this perfect and incredible night. my first favourite memory of my life. i wouldn’t have rather had any of it happen differently. it still feels like a dream sometimes. in the following weeks, i was kinda spam buying her merch & virtually lived in a raye hoodie, wearing dif merch every day whilst going to college etc. and got into even more of her songs. and the thing is, nothing has changed!! i still talk abt her 24/7 & i love her more than ever with each n every day, i feel less alone in knowing she exists & she’s a wonderful person + artist!! nowadays i’m really connecting with this song even though it’s one of her old songs, it’s so my vibe & mood recently.. i connect with her strongly to say the least😂 she’s so important to me, n i appreciate her n everything that she does greatly. i love u raye!!🥲♥️

My partner and I had a petty argument yesterday that made me walk out and now he's not talking to me. It hurts so much because he didn't give me any chance to explain myself. I feel like that only his hurt and pain are allowed to be validated, and not mine. I was hurt, and he didn't want me to speak up, so I walked out. Instead of asking me what happened, he blocked me from all means of communication. I sent him a lot of messages, tried to reach out to him, and even sent him an apology, but then again nothing was going through. This song by Raye was the last song we listened to on repeat because we both love it so much. He was the one who introduced me to Raye. Now, every time I listen to this song, I can't help but tear up and yet I keep on playing it on repeat like we used to. We spent Christmas and New Year together and had very fond and happy memories. I miss him, but if he doesn't want to communicate with me then there's nothing to work on. I've always believed that communication is key to any and every relationship. His not wanting to talk to me is too painful for me and if this is so, then I must realize that he no longer wishes to be with me. This line from the song, "Please don't touch me, if you don't mean it," hits hard.

@@rhiarka He did eventually after a couple of weeks and told me that he's in a new relationship already. It just proved that he wasn't worth it. It helped me move on quicker. I'm very ok now and happy with what's going on with my life. Despite the challenges of every day, being able to live another day in itself is a blessing. 🙂🫶
