- After 88 minutes of torturous anticipation, Scotland received their just rewards when they scored yet another late home goal.
Martin Skrtel put an Ikechi Anya cross into his own net for a Scotland win for which they dominated throughout, hitting the crossbar twice.
The victory now sets it up nicely for Sunday when a win against Slovenia would put Scotland on track for their first play-off since 2003.
I only wanted to watch this video to see the reaction of the crowd when Scotland scored. I was not disappointed. Wish you all the best Scotland, you deserve to be in the finals based on your last performances!

That dive was a disgrace and poetic justice followed with that red and winning it late on. I was nervous for this game as I think Slovakia are a very decent side so well done to Gordon and the lads 👍

This was my first Hampden experience, and what a special one it turned out to be. Total euphoria when the goal went in, and it was what the team deserved after going so close so many times. World class performance by Dubravka though! Much of the game was the Dubravka show.

Consider a fact: a Serbian guy send off Slovakian player in both match against England and against Scotland. We must play in ten to lose tightly.

Realistically, Slovakia cannot qualify. Even if Slovakia beat Malta and Scotland lose, Slovakia would be on 18 points. That would probably not be enough to get a ply-off place. Scotland might not even get into the play-off with 20 points.
