    I've been watching these compilations of the Myth Hunters series. Very enjoyable. That said, I love how the people only accept evidence that supports their theories and justifies any anomalies as "mistakes". You need to look at all evidence with a skeptical eye. Not just asking how it supports my pet theory, but also asking how it might not. Question everything.

    I don’t think we can understand Pearl Harbour if we didn’t live it. Believe it was like that generation’s 9/11 and the destroying of the Japanese swords likely had a hint of payback to it.

    Re The true cross. My caveat is that why would the Romans have used three languages for the plaque over the cross of a criminal, if they even put a plaque up at all.

    • @DJ.Michelle
      @DJ.Michelle 2 місяці тому

      So his crimes could be read by all. It is a well established fact that those languages were the most commonly spoken in the area at the time... the first publication of the new testament was written in Greek, for example, because the apostles also spoke it, interchangeably with hebrew, n they were writing to appeal to gentiles, who mostly spoke or at least understood greek... this is not an uncommon thing of the time, n we have contemporary n secondary non
      Biblical sources n art confirming this.

    Katana is curved, but that curve is not such that it gives the blade much easier cutting properties. Of course, it helped, but that is negligible. For the curve to be such to play a vital role in the cutting the katana should be curved much, much more. The curve on the katana comes from the cooling techniques, when the swordsmith plunges the hot sword in the water the metal gets curved. And again, I am not saying that the curve is not helping, but the curve on the katana or Mongol, Turkish, or European sabres is not helping so much in the cutting.

    All other methods of dating put the shroud as originating between approx 50bc, to approx 50 ad, n all the particles PROVING the shroud was at some point, in the exact area of Jerusalem, including plant n dirt particles ONLY found in Jerusalem, that carbon dating result is proven to be horribly wrong... not to mention they tested an area KNOWN to have been repaired in the middle ages, n consists of linen widely used at that time, n the other linen is only known to have been used in the middle east, right around the time of the life of christ, n we know this thanks to another article of cloth made of the same linen n weave, n we know for a fact due to provinance n historical evidence etc, not to mention the few hundred OTHER points of fact that place it in 1st century Jerusalem, that the atheists want so badly to just ignore, n throw AWAY all those points of evidence just to claim the only ONE horrible point of evidence is the only point of evidence thats correct, which isnt at all how science is done, n proof that theyre going to serious extremes to prove their own bias... not to mention the fast food wrapper that c14 tests showed it to be thousands of years old lolol... idk why people keep accepting c14 results as gospel, still... pun intended
