i feel that sometimes when i start a new journal even if it is the same type of journal that i just got done using i feel like not sure about it til i start writing in there and start writing down new memories and thoughts into my journal and then i start to like my journal

I love how your journal matches everything.
Something I do before starting a new journal is going to the last page and making a pen test where I test out all my favourite pens and markers to see what suits the paper best. Maybe that would give you an opportunity to connect with the journal before starting to write in it. Happy journaling, hope you have a good time with it nonetheless ❤📖🖊️
Hey Carrie if you see this I just want to thank you, for inspiring me to start Journaling. It's taken me a long time, but the journal I started because of you on January 15th 2022 I finished today. Hi Carrie, I've recently found your channel and I love your content. I was watching one of your vlogs where you mentioned a good thing to do is introduce yourself to your journal - write about special details of yourself in the present and also being detailed with recounting events. You gave the example of writing about your sister running a specific total of miles in 30 minutes and how it was great to let tour sister know you wrote that about her. You said that in the moment we remember the event or thing we did but later on having those special details are helpful and fun to look back on. I want to thank you for that because my journal entry for today was a lot more detailed and enjoyable to document. Thank you! Take care!

Hiiiiiiii! I absolutely love your videos, I found you yesterday and now I'm encouraged to try and journal again! (I have journals where I just stopped for some reason and now I need a fresh one.) I was wondering if a purple pen was an alright color to use, bc that's what I'm planning on using!

I had the same problem finishing my 4th journal bc it was the only one that wasn’t mad cringey or weird 😭 I genuinely had ✨character development✨ so i found it hard to leave it @-@

You know what I do with my journal? Every time I start a new month, I make a cover page for that month so that it'll be easier to find if I need to look back to a specific time. If there's an index, that's even better because I will write the page number that I started the new month (its cover page).

I’m on my 4th but it feels like a haven’t journaled at all bc I was like a kid and didn’t care and I finished it in year three and started when I was 6 💀 but I lost it so but I have a better journal now and I get a new one every year

Most journals have that awkward first page, it has to do with how the book is bound to the cover. I use double sided tape to put those 2 pages together

Maybe switch to a different pen that bleeds less? I’m sure as you add good memories and stuff to the journal it will grow on you, but it’s also okay to abandon journals you don’t connect with!

A journal is made for mistkes even if you make a mistake that is nothing in my journal there is like 100 Mistkes do not worry about Mistakes worry about sociality
