Nancy, Thank you so much for the video. My mother was pure Serbian. I recall the fabulous Christmas celebrations at my grandparent's house. It seemed like it snowed every Serbian Christmas. The table was so loaded with food and I could never forget the pogica. Your video rekindled such wonderful memories of those childhood Christmases.I was truly blessed. My grandparents and their children are all gone now but my family still celebrates what my mother always called "Serbian Christmas". God bless you and Serbia!!!

@@Roxxelana No orthodox serbs always celebrated 7th january for christmas, serbs living in other countries or minority catholic serbs might celebrate both.
@@rockylee943 Serbians celebrate Christmas on December 25th too, but on December 25th of the Julian Calendar which is January 7th in the Gregorian calendar

why greeks,romanians,bulgarians, orthodox turks celebrate25 th dec.
It’s a different calendar that the church uses☺️ Russians for example celebrate it on 7th as well.
We follow the old calender, while most of the world follows the gregorian calender which is catholic in origen.
