@@msgillett4999 … oh my .. a lot of the symptoms sound like symptoms of a sydokine storm . I probably didn’t spell that right . But from what I’ve read , that happens when the body is exposed to basically more than the body can take from , well , whatever the case may be . ( forgive me if I’m wrong , but I was researching my symptoms as no dr could explain the symptoms I was having ) For me it was the amount of pain I have from my health issues that was causing odd symptoms no one could explain . I was having most of the first woman’s symptoms except seizures. The dr said they couldn’t be sure that’s what was happening to me without testing he himself was not able to do . Maybe the vaccine causes that to happen to certain people . We all react differently to things . I hope someone takes these people seriously and helps them . This is sad that some are having to go through this ..for a vaccine that is supposed to help protect them …..

In Australia the mixed messages about vacinne by the government has made people think twice about vacinne. Why are governments all over the world not making use of drugs e.g. Ivermectin that has been shown by studies and also by actual use by GPS in South Africa and India to treat COVID with great results and also as a preventative instead of pushing vaccines that have not been through the testing that these drugs have? Does not make sense at all! $ and large Pharma rules as seems to be the way in our world these days.

Yes absolutely, I think when arguing for the merits of ivermectin and the perceived lack of evidence, one should remind the pro vaccine advocates that the one large trial that they hang their hat on was actually fallible.
The vaccine trials were conducted among healthy individuals and the individuals were only exposed to the virus on a random societal exposure basis. It only required the placebo group to be less than 1% more exposed to the virus to arrive at their +90% relative risk reduction measurement.(The FDA recommended Absolute risk reduction measurement makes it less than 1%)
In comparison the numerous ivermectin trials and studies had a much broader group of health profiles and age group with a much greater risk of exposure and infection to the virus due to the fact that most of the participants were in a higher risk setting ie. Hospitals, nursing homes, etc.

Im always confused by these types of sarcastic comments. Whats the point of them? What’s your endgame for making these remarks at people? Im fully vaccinated and am starting to do semi-normal activities, but keeping an awareness of the COVID situation around you is healthy, especially when the virus is still rapidly spreading and mutating amongst unvaccinated people, which can in turn indirectly affect you over time. Every mutated version of the virus has the chance to further erode the protection our current vaccines give us.
Its not like herd immunity has been fully achieved and COVID is suddenly a bygone virus from a previous era. It’s still very real, even if we don’t want it to be.

      Look at old West movies.
The coach driver always sits on the right, the opposite side to which you mount a horse. He can pull the hand break with his stronger arm.
People mounting their horses have to walk out into the road to do so if riding on the right side (horses are mounted from the horse's left side).
The first motor cars had a centrally placed driving position.
And yet the Americans still chose the right side of the road, and a steering wheel on the left, contrary to every other English speaking country and most other developed nations of the time.
      Weird.
"The first law requiring drivers to keep right was passed in Pennsylvania in 1792, and similar laws were passed in New York in 1804 and New Jersey in 1813. Despite the developments in the US, some parts of Canada continued to drive on the left until shortly after the Second World".

      @averagewoman6962 3 роки тому

Probably the most practical reason for mounting from the left is the scabbard, which for a right handed person, would be hanging from the left hip. When mounting from the left, you're facing the rear of the horse, you put your left foot in the stirrup, push the scabbard back and out of the way and then jump up off your left foot and swing your right over the saddle, turning to face front. If you mount from the right, putting your right foot in the stirrup, the scabbard over your left hip would have to come over the saddle as well as your left leg, and you would have to hold it out of the way, weakening the manoeuvre by occupying your left hand. It could also slap into the horse's flank on the way over, startling it - which isn't a situation any rider wants to be in with just one foot in the stirrup.

I am in the USA, Missouri. Delta has been the variant that is raging across my state. They are moving cases from the west of the state to the east of the state. Thats about 300 miles, because of over flow in hospitals. My county, along with StLouis city and county are reinstating masks. I have been masked, and will not go without one, as I have discovered during this pandemic people are nastier than I thought before. We have small counties around us who have never had a mask mandate, and people go from one county to another to shop because they dont want to wear a mask, thus spreading it.

We've got 4 people in hospital (out of 200,000 residents) and no-one has died with the virus since the start of May. 80% of us have a first dose and 60% have a second, and the vaccination centres are really busy (or at least they were when I had mine done the other day).
I think what's happened is the student outbreak in Durham from a couple of weeks back might have spread what with the city being a travel hub. I imagine the amount of passion for football in the area has also lead to more spread in pubs etc during the Euros.

I dont think they are capable of it, or mature enough to take full responsibility of the problem or clearly communicate the things we need to be doing in order to properly control covid. It worries me a bit that in the UK we now have a very strong political motivation to talk up the success of the vax programme - because it's just about the only one thing that they seem to have got right - and the only thing currently sustaining the government's credibility (see this week's PMQs... the answer to every question was "distract attention from the real question and get back to talking about vaccines".
I'm not remotely anti-vax (I'm pro-vax in general) - and I have never bought into the 'big pharma' financial conspiracy theories that people repeatedly trot out in vacuous one-line comments here - but it is a concern when there is now a visible political self-interest aligned with portraying the vax efficacy and safety data in a rosy light, come what may - because their 'back to normal' promises are hung upon it.

I’m fully vaccinated too and thank goodness in Ontario we haven’t lifted our mask mandate yet. We’re only 76% one dose and 37% two dose. So as far as I’m concerned we’re not there yet and especially now that we’re dealing with Delta. We have a 50% positivity rate now of the Delta variant in Ontario. So in all indoor public spaces for instance when I do my errands in stores I ALWAYS wear my mask and even sometimes my face shield as in the grocery stores. As some people feel they can just shove their mask under their nose or chin now. And I’m NOT WILLING to get Delta! Thanks! Lol! As I don’t know whether they’re fully vaccinated or not. They’re even starting to bring in their children that are 5-8 years old without masks and they can easily spread the virus that way. So I’m being careful during this crucial
time of racing to get everyone willing vaccinated ahead of the Delta variant as we want our vaccines to work for us now. Glad you’re keeping careful too. 👍🙌
