Thanks man. Yeah, i think the shield devotion is massively underwhelming considering it provides no damage to any type. Not only that but usually you have a specific route on your builds, and those affinity points can be handy somewhere else, which is another downside to it. You can still use it for defense but the affinity it provides is very low for what it gives. RATA would be the best case scenario to use it, however, there are some mandatory t2 devotions you always want to take on shield retal, and so it's often overlooked. In my opinion, It could have something more interesting than block.

This looks solid. Is there ever a reason to take the shield devo? I noticed nobody ever really seems to take it even though they use a shield.
