It seems to be the lever action guns should be more powerful cause every time I shoot something big it will kill it but slowly
Only the 44 lever action is any good.
Well none of them are all that powerful irl. A 30-30 gets outdone by a 243, a 270 puts more energy downrange than a 45-70 past 100yds, and the 44 is worse than both.
But to be fair the whole terminal ballistics aspect of the game needs redone. Bows shouldn't penetrate through an entire cape buffalo and drop it on the spot while a 30-30 struggles to double lung a 150lb whitetail
@@madwe2269 You're right the whole thing makes no sense to real life but wasn't the sharps a 45-70? I'm thinking there's two different 45-70 cartridges but I could be wrong definitely didn't Google it. In game however there's never any good reason to use the 30-30 or 45-70.
@@Clark42EoCSharps came in numerous different calibers. There is only one 45/70, but there are several other 45 caliber rounds, as well as 50 caliber.
Wish they’d add more dynamic weather in maps makes it one of my favorite maps
YUKON! Best map in the game! Love it keep it up!
Kinda glad that bison trolled, since I think that was the one me (LaiLai) and my friend spotted that got spooked by a wolf😂
I’ve been waiting for this video
Giving a thumbs up right at the start. I love Yukon Valley.
Hoping that you find your gold ranked albino grizzly soon.
Love the vids been watching since early 2020
This would be a good livestream
They need too buff the 45-70 and 30-30
With the current ballistics system they sit about where they should. The 30-30 is comparable to the 243 and the 45-70 to the 270. That's about where they stack up irl, a 243 puts out slightly more energy than a 30-30 and a 45-70 only has more energy than a 270 to about 100yds with most loads.
@@madwe2269 the 45-70 should be buffed look at ron spomers 45-70 ballistic video or look at a ballistic video
@@madwe2269 while its trajectory is almost horrible the rifle should be more powerful in the game
@@madwe2269there are more factors than energy. The 45-70 is also shooting bullets the weigh over twice as much as the 270. It takes mass to stop mass, more weight equals more penetration. 45-70's have been shot end to end (longways) through rhinos, yet in game they barely penetrate 1 lung on things lile elk and moose. They need buffed. No reason to have a weapon in game if it isn't going to be good enough to get the job done.
@@madwe2269You are spreading some bad info. The 45/70 was a well known bison round, and it wouldn’t have gotten that rep if it performed like you say. You are just noting the fact that the larger round will do more damage and will bring the animal down quicker than a smaller round. It is considerably more powerful than a 270. You wouldn’t hunt bison with a 270, but the 45/70 has a long history of it.
You seem to be confusing trajectory with power. At no point does a 45/70 fall to the same level as a 270, but the 270 does fly flatter. Energy wise, it doesn’t come close to the 45/70. Now, there are very light loads for vintage rifles, and those are the only rounds I can find that have the pathetic performance you are claiming. Normal hunting rounds perform far better.
You should do a lever action hunt with no scope
Good hunt Flinter
You should play Hunting Sim 2 again!
He hasnt gotten all of the legendary animals@the.mr.schrader
He hasnt gotten all of the Legendary animals yet@the.mr.schrader
Hoenstly, I think EW should swap the class ranges of the .44 and .45-70... the .44 works a lot better on Class 9 and is too good for Class 3 so I think it should be 4-9 while the .45-70 works better as a 3-8. But that's just my thoughts.
Irl the 45-70 is a big round, i think they should buff it in game.
@@MatthewAlmandthe 45-70 sure is something, all that bullet weight and powder and it loses energy so fast irl it's not even funny. At least in this game they kind of made it similar to the 270, that's about its closest comparison irl at any range beyond 75-100yds
Yukon is still by far my fav map
Is going for a rare bison comming back in the hunter classic?
45-70 is so underpowered. Same with the 30-30
🫎🥴🤦♂️👍👍
Got my diamond Magpie Goose today. Only 4 more diamonds to go. Just need a hazel grouse, Rock Ptarmigan, Gray Fox and Bobwhite Quail and I’ll have them all. 😉 👌
Is Yukon worth it because it seems cool
Hunting Sim two
I just joined an srp server and found a dime bison. Shot him with the 45-70.
New to the community, but what is the point of playing on mp servers if you get kicked for playing the game?
