With the bigger cabinet and drivers the LX3 sounds fuller and airer.and the low frequencies are more present and deeper. I own Mission LX2 and LX2+ and the comparison between them is pretty much the same as here for exactly the same reason.
Hey hope your doing fine , i want to but the lx2 mk2 or the qx1 mk2 i dont know what speaker is better in overall performance like vocals and detail can you give me advive on the lx vs qx series ? Thanks
@@Audiophilesdoteu thanks for your thoughts. The LX 3 are 299.00 on sale now. One reviewer said that they are not a detailed speaker but they are Musical and forgiving. Would you agree with that assessment or do you think they have detail and maybe his front end was lacking.? Thank you

@@andrewbrazier9664 - I have both the Mission Qx-2 mk-ii and LX-2 Mk-ii. There is simply no comparison between the two - the QX-2 is leagues ahead of the LX. Worst about the LX-2 Mk-ii is the complete lack of dynamic capabilities on the LX-2 with an unrefined mid-range and Treble. It distorts very easily. While, it may not be a fair comparison with the QX-2 because of the larger driver, even my PSB Alpha P5 which is smaller than the LX-2 Mk-ii murders it in every single metric of SQ including bass depth and mid bass punch. Thank you. Your video is very useful. I choose LX3MKII
Same, wow
I love the sound of both.
LX2 sounded more balanced in person when tested in store IMO.
Would you consider them too bright?
Certainly brighter than the LX3 but not too bright for my tastes. I tested them in a big room.
@@deepsoulfulsounds thanks very much considering getting the lX2 mK2
@@richardchandra3641it’s my pleasure!
Really useful, thank you. it's not subtle, is it?

for some reason I feel the Lx series is more open, detailed and in your face than QX. QX is more lean back and darker sounding. :-)
How do you fell the mids compare??
They sound quite equal, a little bit less "stressed" in the LX-3MKII when playing at louder volumes. :-).

Hey , with what amplifier are they playing ? And what recommendations for budget amplifier for having good matching and sound 🔊 ? Thanks
They played with a 6000A from Audiolab, was a good match :-)
Also tried a cheaper WiiM Amp, worked out very well.
@@Audiophilesdoteu Thank you so much! It was very nice demo :)
Hi, what about pair them with Denon DRA 900?
