What if the character we just saw as Uncle Howdy is not actually him but is actually Taylor as Uncle Harper, and the "I'm Just a Ghost" version of Uncle Howdy from the 2022 promos is Bray's version of Uncle Howdy? Perhaps Bray's Uncle Howdy only appears on screen promos, influencing Uncle Harper. This approach could allow Bray's presence to remain in the storyline, with Uncle Howdy occasionally appearing on screen promos to push Uncle Harper further into darkness. This would add a nice touch to the overall story while keeping Bray presence alive in some form.
