I watched your part in that fandom video, and I came to wonder. How did you get a hold of Nightwish recordings in Cuba. Because I can remember back when the Soviet Union was still in place, people behind the Iron Curtain could only get Western music through bootleg cds and cassettes as far as I know. Is it the same situation in Cuba?

I defy anyone to not get emotional when listening to Nightwish. You would have to be made of stone to be unmoved by their beautiful,majestic songs. Tuomas is a genius and the whole band deserve much wider recognition.So sad to hear that Marko is leaving them.
I've hear of legends from times long ago, of mortals capable of unbeatable feats. But I never thought that I would see and hear one in my lifetime. Although I have sincere doubts if Floor is a mortal. She is a beautiful angelic beast with a supernatural voice.
The funny thing is .... Floor is no remarkable beauty. Sure, she's in shape and professional stage makeup makes quite a difference, but ultimately it's her voice and her stage charisma you see more than physical beauty.

To be honest, I never payed much attention to this song before, not one of my favourites... but this live performance....WOW. The band is perfect, and Floor is killing it (and killing me with her voice).

What a beautifull song about a bullied boy. Hard to believe that Floor can sing this so good, being bullied at school herself. Must bring back some hard memories.....but she proved them wrong....... how real a story about ''the ugly duckling'' can be. bullied at school. did'nd fit in. and look what a swan she has become! a swan that even let you hear here beauty. Floor...… and again a festive reaction.
The wounded swan is made even more beautiful by her grace in overcoming.
I love the way Floor gracefully dances as she is silhouetted by the lights. This song is Tuomas's telling all of the people he loves what he would say to them if he were to die suddenly without having a chance to say goodbye. Probably his most personal feeling ever put into lyrics.

I have a serious problem with Nightwish. Every time I hear them play a new song it becomes the best one that I've ever heard. I've run out of fingers and toes to remember how many I've heard so far, so I can no longer keep an accurate count. It's only taken me 50 years to understand how it feels to be star struck. Thank you Floor, and thank you Nightwish who was great without Floor but now are epic with her!

Floor is the best, i love her, but that is not the definition of lyrical soprano, she is a dramatic soprano, not an opinion, just a fact.
@@AsdrianSebastian I would say that you can't really characterize her like that because she has done only 2 years of classical training. She is a soprano when it comes to her vocal range but you can't really say if she is dramatic or lyrical or coloratura or whatever because she simply didn't want to develop her voice in a classical way. All these terms can only apply to opera singers

Yep, this song made me cry too when they played it at the concert I went to. It was also my first Nightwish concert (had been a fan for nearly 15 years, never had the chance to go see them, so you can imagine how hyped I was). Yeah, many songs made me tear up, others, like Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean and the heavy ones made me go crazy... I couldn't speak for two days after the concert, but, even more so, I could still not believe I saw them live. It was like a dream. Even now I still have not reaaally realized it happened, lol.
Need to see them when they come to my country next :o

Super reaction from both of you - and you two supplements each other very well in the reaction.
And this song is rapidly getting one of Nightwish's top songs, after having been through Floor's magic touch - it's phenomenal now, great before, but now - incredible.
I would suggest that you introduce Helo to some celtic inspired Nightwish songs - after having shown her: Sleeping Sun, Tampere 2015 - this is a must, but it is short, so please add My Walden from same concert (celtic) plus Alpenglow, and Last of the Wild.
And you have to do a session from Wembley 2015 with Helo, starting with Shudder before the beautiful, followed by 7 days at the wolves and then The Greatest Show on Earth.
And you should also react to Ayreon - The day that the World breaks down - a rock musical from the Netherlands with a bunch of the best rock and metal singers in the worl (yes, Floor and Simone are there!!) - it is just great.
And please don't forget to show Helo Floor's own hard rock project with Bjørn (super guitarist). They started/wrote it in 2008, paused for a decade, and recorded it in 2018 - thats pure rock.
It's called Northward and please react to: While love died.
(Floor's sister Irene is on this album too ( Drifting Islands) and they are also both on previous Ayreon musicals. Irene is also a great singer - not in Floor's caliber, but a great singer, very equal to Floor in many tones.
