One of the many things I love about Earl commentating is that he teaches us when to play safe. That's some valuable knowledge! Thanks again Earl and BN!
Now when I play, especially in the tournaments, I actually say in my head: "Right bottom, of the rail, back to the middle of the table" and other lines from these vids. Thank you Earl :)
What am I missing? At the 28:40 mark, JS won his 5th game. At the 35 min. mark (35:04?) he makes a 9 ball break, with several balls passing the headstring, making it a legal break. Yet he never gets credit for a 6th point, even several minutes later. What's up??
Hey Earl (a long time fan), keep commenting. You're an extroverted enough to do the commenting, and you have the in-knowledge to actually say anything. The combination is golden. Bit of training and you make waves. Love to hear from you again.
In another match Earl mentioned that the balls were sinking easy into the pockets... I noticed that the pockets look like they don't have any angle to them... Meaning they are 135* and they are parallel to each other going into the corner pockets... Is anyone out there familiar with Dynamic tables?? Are the rails parallel in the pockets?? It sure looks like it on the overhead view of the table... American tables are around 141* going into the pockets which can often make the balls rattle and get spit out...
I'm glad you say to spin the ball on ALMOST every shot. I played Buddy Hall about 8 or 9 years ago and he said "you spin the ball too much, top, middle and bottom is all you need". If I get the perfect angle every time, yeah sure.
What's happened after 35 minutes? The score was 5-4 (Jason Shaw), he won the game with the 9 ball in the pocket on the brake but the score didn't changed to 6-4. Did i missed something?
33:14 - Did the spectators just roll out of bed or something? A shot like that and Albin gets like a thigh pat and a finger snap and I'm not sure anyone else even noticed. I would have been like "WTF did you see that sh*t? No I will not sit down. Take your hands off me. Who do you- Oh, you want some too? I'll take you both together! For Albin!" Anyway that shot was unreal, and it deserved more appreciation than it received.
Y’all should get earl a microphone. Doesn’t have to be a nice one. I’m not dissing it’s just I would love to be able to hear him a little clearer because of how good he is at commentating
It would be totally different, because Earl would be as amazed at the speed and accuracy of Zielinski. His comments would be eye opening and accurate and QUICK, LOL. All hail Zielinski and Earl the Pearl.
I'm going to guess during the match he'd be saying, regarding Wiktor "Man, I can barely get the calls out this guy shoots so fast. He almost shoots too fast. I can't commentate fast enough." And he'd probably say it about 8 times...
I think whoever was doing the scoring just made a mistake and didn't register it? If you assume the point should have been added it would mean Ouschan was breaking the odd racks, which would be correct as he won the lag. Earl's commentary is magnificent, but I don't think any of us would be surprised that he never noticed Ouschan suddenly starting breaking the even racks!
There isone great match between jayson and eklent kaçi i think it was final treviso open eurotour score was 9-8 i guess with earl strickland complementry that match would be great to watch just a suggestion with love ❤️🙏🏻👍
30:02 When the break is illegal, the incoming player is not allowed to play a push! So Shaw brought Ouschan back! If Shaw could push out, he would! But he wasn't allowed to!
I think I seen this match before where they are both moping around the table like their dog got killed on the way to this match ,,and they are both so sad.
Not getting much traffic, but that's expected. I like the kind of commentator, who explains what was done, not the kind that upstages the player by telling the audience what the player is going to do...
I love Earl's raw commentary. Plus, his reading of the BN promotional script makes me chuckle every time.
Earl, I hope you don't stop commentating. You are one of the better ones and you are enjoyable to listen to as far as I'm concerned.
At first glance I thought your comment read .."don't stop complaining."
earl is by far the best commentator ive seen in billiard, you even learn from that!
One of the many things I love about Earl commentating is that he teaches us when to play safe. That's some valuable knowledge! Thanks again Earl and BN!
Fantastic commentary by Earl once again. All you weekend commentators and amateur commentators need to learn from this
But even the good players too. :)
Strickland's commentary has a lot of instructive value, great to listen.
Glad you think so!
already seen this and other matches on the billiard network, elswhere before. But the commentating of Earl makes them all worth to see them again ;-)
thanks for joining John!
Earl you are a fantastic commentator. You give info that pool players actually want to hear
Now when I play, especially in the tournaments, I actually say in my head: "Right bottom, of the rail, back to the middle of the table" and other lines from these vids. Thank you Earl :)
I do the same thing! lol
And also, "oh, I butchered that one"
Earl teaches the game as he commentates--Love it!!

Love it when Earl says " Boingy rails"
Earl is such a treasure in these videos
Thanks Earl 😊
Earl does a great job commentary.
I really like Earl behind the mic. He was always my favorite player. Its nice to hear his commentary.
I love how Earl will subtly (or not so subtly) compliment himself 😂
It was comedy of errors. Epic. Thanks Earl, visit us in Croatia again sometimes ^^.
What a bad days for both player , anyway as usual earl was a really great caster
Earl is fun to listen to lol!! Good stuff!!
Only Earl, and I repeat only Earl is allowed to call me an amateur repetitively and I don't feel bad about it
Like watching both these player's games and Earl is a bonus.
AWSOME ANALIST /// you help tremendously!!!
Sometimes it feels good to see them play like us mortals
Love earl commentary does a great job
They never gave Shaw his point for that 9 ball snap around 35:00
In another match Earl mentioned that the balls were sinking easy into the pockets... I noticed that the pockets look like they don't have any angle to them... Thanks to this channel love watch pool
shoutout to them weekend players out there
Great job Earl
Your THE MAN Earl
I'm surprised either one of them are winning ... awesome comment Earl.
I'm glad you say to spin the ball on ALMOST every shot. I played Buddy Hall about 8 or 9 years ago and he said "you spin the ball too much, top, middle and bottom is all you need". If I get the perfect angle every time, yeah sure.
Great job Earl the pearl
Earl what's the best diameter shaft to use ?
I like Jason Shaw I feel that is as good as there is today. Very solid Player
I subscribe BN coz of Earl
Earl is a Master at shot description!
Earl class commentary
What's happened after 35 minutes? The score was 5-4 (Jason Shaw), he won the game with the 9 ball in the pocket on the brake but the score didn't changed to 6-4. Did i missed something?
I love how Earl plays a game to predict every shot
What is placement pool?
Earl is great at commentating, I think we found his real pool skill. Great job
33:14 - Did the spectators just roll out of bed or something? A shot like that and Albin gets like a thigh pat and a finger snap and I'm not sure anyone else even noticed. This is a fact about pool... most of the audience is formed from players in the event... they are very reluctant at showing appreciation
What does Brooklyned it mean?
Great commentary! If I may offer some constructive criticism, the audio is very low quality. Perhaps invest in a decent microphone. Hope to hear more!
@4:36 why use 2 rails ? surely thats harder than 1 rail off the 3 diamond on the side rail ??
Y’all should get earl a microphone. Doesn’t have to be a nice one. I’m not dissing it’s just I would love to be able to hear him a little clearer because of how good he is at commentating
pls tell me what Placment pool is
i wonder how earl would commentate about the last video of final eurotour (wiktor zielinski vs mario he)
Same. It was the fastest eurotour final ever.
@@diathekedriven 8 times every shot
At 35:00, Shaw made a golden break but didn't get a point? Anybody know why?
same question
I think whoever was doing the scoring just made a mistake and didn't register it? If you assume the point should have been added it would mean Ouschan was breaking the odd racks, which would be correct as he won the lag.
Earl's commentary is magnificent, but I don't think any of us would be surprised that he never noticed Ouschan suddenly starting breaking the even racks!
pfff ye that kinda spoiled it for me, just what the hell.
Forgot to write his point ..
There isone great match between jayson and eklent kaçi i think it was final treviso open eurotour score was 9-8 i guess with earl strickland complementry that match would be great to watch just a suggestion with love ❤️🙏🏻👍
At 5-4 when Shaw made the 9 the on screen score was not updated.
Looks like the players forgot tonpunch the score ... final score was 9-7
30:02 When the break is illegal, the incoming player is not allowed to play a push! So Shaw brought Ouschan back! If Shaw could push out, he would! But he wasn't allowed to!
That guy in the background in grey shirt picks his nose for like 50% of this match lol
Cant get my eyes off of him now
@@brajkii132 lol me too
What is wrong with him...…I never noticed it but now I cannot stop watching either.
Lets petition Earl to comment on a video with him playing Efren.
There must be some type of side bet going on
What fouldid he make on the 7th and frames break please?
They're playing 3 point rule - each potted ball or ball that reaches the head string is a point. Less than 3 points is a fouled break.
@@tjreedy thanks
Never give the game up , make your opponent shoot the last shot.
Earl, please do this format with some of your early matches vs. Efren
It already is on our channel, look up the earl strickland presents series - playlist
@@billiardnetwork Lots of cool videos, but only one featuring Earl is Earl vs. Shane?
More Earl in the booth, the best, we miss Grady too
Albin is my favorite underrated player. Probably underrated because he’s Jasmin’s brother also he isn’t an entertainer
Boing!
Can u not snooker on a push out then @8:50 ?
Keep hearing . . "Missed it by THAT much . . ."
16:22.. Never saw him miss like this.. Wtf
I think I seen this match before where they are both moping around the table like their dog got killed on the way to this match ,,and they are both so sad.
To be honest ,,sometimes they do act a little strange, but it is a way to cope with the pressure I believe?? Getting their game face on,,or poker face.
Rack 12 has two of the worst safety shots I've ever seen at this level... period... 'They never play safe like that against me, that's for sure!'
They’re shooting more like bro’s than pro’s
Earl the pearl Strickland
Please use a better microphone for commentary
Earl comments I learn!🙂
Earl is best player in ther world!
Not getting much traffic, but that's expected. I like the kind of commentator, who explains what was done, not the kind that upstages the player by telling the audience what the player is going to do...
That upstaging, as you call it is the way top players think. To emphasize what they just did on their last shot is just history.
Earl is hilarious. “All you amateurs and weekend players pay attention”
what's up with not giving point to jayson shaw for 9 ball in a break
man everyone is always lucky against earl it seems
Amateur and weekend player, both. Nice tips.
:)
Shawwww camonnn
They are not playing to their full potential.
He's a better commentator than sportsman...
Shaw threw that match, must have got someone to bet against him.
thanks for watching!
Earl is such a pearl in the booth.
Imagine Earl narrating porn movies for blind people... "yea, just like that.." 😄😄
Albin's demeanor at the table makes me cringe.
His name is Albin. With an L.
Not good play at all
I hate earls commentary, I don't need to hear you tell me that Albin ouschan played a shot "wrong". Not everybody plays the same
