Do not ever apologize for your silliness, Andrea... I love it. And yes that is Battenburg lace but I had no idea that there was also a Battenberg cake. Who knew? Certainly not me. Lol. I truly enjoy watching your channel. I especially love this new kit Belle Rose. It’s so beautiful. It’s totally my style. Sending blessings, Sharron 🩷🌸🩷
Oh don't be sorry for your sillies I love them. It is part of the reason I watch your channel. LOL I call that kind of lace battenberg also but maybe we're both wrong. There is a battenberg cake too that is made with little squares somehow. I saw it on British baking show this is such a lovely Journal you are making blessings and love
Hello! You're right...Battenberg IS a type of cake. But according to Wikipedia "Battenberg lace is a type of tape lace. It is of American origin, designed and first made by Sara Hadley of New York. This American lace was named either in honor of the wedding of Princess Beatrice, Queen Victoria's youngest daughter, to Prince Henry of Battenberg, or from [sic] the widowed Princess Beatrice." If it crumbles when you're making a tag, it's probably cake.
Beautiful ❤️ I love to her your laughter and you always make me smile. And I love to hear the birds in the background.
Hi Andrea, love it when you get the giggles, it makes me smile. Love this Belle Rose Page spread. Have a lovely weekend 💜

I love this pretty, romantic journal. I think this lace, you call Battenburg, is broderie anglais ,(not sure about the spelling).❤
It is indeed Battenberg lace, I use to make it. You were right 😃
There is a battenburg lace. I can’t see yours well enough but it definitely could be.
