- Hello friends. As I mentioned at the end of the previous episode, we reached Girdev Plateau and brewed our tea with natural spring water. We snacked a few things to suppress our hunger. Because we still stop with the breakfast we have in the morning.
Since we visited the plateau for the first time, we have no idea where to camp in the evening and we are looking for a suitable camping area by the lake.
After the tea break we gave, we started to proceed from the North direction road surrounding the lake all around (You can reach the road route of this section from the link below). Cherry, plum and apple orchards that we saw in the plateau had impressed us. Here we had the chance to taste the white cherries served to us and had great tastes. (You can see the image of white cherry at 01:26)
It is possible to see the houses of people and shepherds who live in the summer in the plateau. Since there is a lot of snow in winters, there is no human life in the plateau except for adrenaline junkies.
It is possible to see picnics, hiking groups, amateur fishermen and shepherds grazing sheep while walking along the road on the edge of the lake.
Approximately 6.8 km after the starting point, we reached the place known as "Yoruk Muhtarın Yeri". This place is very convenient for the campground. We set up our tents before it gets dark. Our first camping night was enjoyable and fun. You can find contact information about this place in the next sections.
