Maybe sharkbot doesn't necessarily need to try splitting to defend multiple spots but to try attacking multiple locations in turn, using a few of those tempests for example.

5:19 that Colossus is doing like double damage...
It should do 10+5 vs light x2.
So it should be doing 10-1armor x2 = 18 damage to the tank per shot but it only takes 5 shots to kill a tank which has 175hp.
Also it should do 15x2 = 30 damage vs marines but it 1 shots a couple marines while fighting the tank and goes across the map and starts 1 shooting scvs.
I did not check this, but you could be right. The reason is, we are struggling to have the bot arena mimicking the current human arena. The game-bot-interface is stuck on an old game version, and we use special maps to emulate the current game version. So sometimes we have bugs of the type you mention, or like mothership cloak not functioning etc.
great game, wonder if veterran has any accounting for losing a lot of units in a region, to maybe go somewhere else instead

"death ball" is a first order optimal strategy. We've seen how many bots fail because they dont pool units, i dont nlame shark bot for sticking to the basics in that regard.
He is actually wrong, phoenix are the best units. Not overall best, but the best unit to add into a mostly ground army.

Sharkbot felt too passive lategame, if he only just attacked the terran’s outer bases he could have got this
AI is sick with tempest micro. It seems to be a little worse with BC.
Hard to come from behind with tempests due to he low DPS, but once AI has an advantage it's probably in the bank.
(I guess I was wrong, terran units eh? But serious not sure why it just threw all it's probes away. bold strategy.)
