    The money is well deserved- I've enjoyed your "ramblings" over the years; your rented ride in Arizona and a toasty stint aboard an Indian Springfield come to mind and your journey to what you ride now has proven helpful to me, a returning rider. The joy riding brings you is clear to see to anyone watching ... it's infectious. Finally got around to subscribing today. Safe travels and keep up the good work.

    Thanks so much for sharing this video. I'm doing this youtube thing for 3 years now and not unlike yourself it is truly just for fun and adds to my enjoyment of this great sport of motorcycling. I am a small channel and not monetized. I simply don't have the watch hours as of yet. Let's hope for a brighter tomorrow. Great video.

      I’m glad you enjoyed the video. UA-cam is just a fun hobby of mine and I never imagined that I would get enough subscribers and watch time to actually be able to monetize the videos, but I did a couple of years ago and just decided to do it. I’m really amazed that I make any money at all doing this. My advice to you is just be yourself and enjoy the ride and share it with others and you’ll get plenty of folks who want to watch. Thanks again and ride safe

    Love the transparency of the finances. I'm sure that many are curious. And there is a cost to doing UA-cam. With the cameras and editing time, etc. It makes sense to recoup some.

    • @GARamblinMan
      @GARamblinMan  Рік тому

      There is some initial investment that is definitely needed for the cameras and mounts and a decent editing software. I have two GoPros and associated helmet and handlebar mounts, one lavalier type microphone for my helmet and a couple of editing software programs - Movavi and PowerDirector. There are a few more gizmos I would like to have but I have the basics. I took me a while to find the best camera angle and mounting location for my helmet cam and get the audio right. Now the biggest thing for me is just figure out something interesting to say! It’s truly a great hobby and I’ve met some great riding buddies through UA-cam. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Like to have the same viewpoint and the fact that traveling is the most important thing for anyone who has been to different places. The only way to get a good idea for what foods taste like wherever you go. I love foods from my hometown Atlanta Georgia and whole down south. Southern foods are very popular and are often more expensive than other places. GRITS are a big deal and how much my own family always eat. And if you can please don't hate me for not ashamed of chicken and water melons for myself a 65 year old black man raised in Atlanta Georgia and was growing up to have a chance for my life to be around the only motorcycles I know I have been wanting and my dad's family brothers came back from WWII and able to buy Harley Davidson Motorcycles each. To THIS day my mother and my family females still have no problem at all and hate for the men in my family to ride any motorcycle. So we have to be honest with family time and respect for continuing our relationship and living with love for 2 wheels..But our hot rods are little bit more acceptable and pricey than they think. Country Boys...

    They paid you 2 grand, but probably made a quarter million off of you. Hahaha. I am nowhere near being monetized, but they pop ads on my videos all the time, and it makes me furious! They will demonetize a video if someone is walking down the street past a business playing the radio, and the algorithm picks up a song, because they claim to care about not "stealing" an artist's talent. Yet, when we create content, WE are the artists and they don't seem to care about stealing form us, or taking advantage of our creative content. If they put ads on videos, they should not be allowed to steal the content, they should have to pay for it, since THEY are being paid, etc. Great video.

      I recorded my wife’s dance with our son at his wedding last weekend and posted it privately just for my family to see. The music was barely audible with all the background noise of the reception but it had a copyright strike within minutes of it being posted. And for a private video. Unbelievable. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comments. Ride safe.
