So... this is neither a Dadao or a Guandao... It's called a Yanyuedao... A Dadao is a sword. And Guandao is kindof a nickname, that comes from the general GuanYu, who used a Yanyuedao, so his weapon was called the GuanDao... But thats not the actual name for that type of weapons. Dao means Blade. So GuanDao is like "Guan Yu's blade". YanyueDao mean Crescent moon blade.
I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, it's kind of flowery and not all that practical, but on the other hand, it looks fun to do and it looks like really good exercise and nobody will ever need to use a GuanDao in a battle anyway.
