Ok if I have a 4x4 with a leak right at the transfer case and the transmission gasket at the end of the extension...paper gasket is leaking ...silicone on both sides of the gasket should fix it right?and it is normal to have fluid in the piece that joins the transmission to the transfer case.the extension housing in between the tranny and the transfer case????at 3:05 you see the shaft but if it 4x4 a adapter instead of a tail housing.
Since you have it off, why not replace the tail shaft o-ring as well. It goes inside that silver cup on output shaft where the slip yoke goes into. Had one leaking out of the weep hole near that front u-joint.
Im glad you got that tailhouse shavving sealed. Itd really be a pain down the road.

he didn't torque the 2 bolts before he installed the trans. mount.
cmon, you didnt pull that seal. why fake it?
weep hole to the bottom. should start all bolts before tightening any bolts
You did not describe the placement of the weep hole in Your video, if they should be set at 6 o’clock 8o’clock 9 o’clock or 12 o’clock.
