- Today Kelsey Impicciche continues her challenge called The Not So Berry Challenge! It's a challenge created by lilsimsie in the Sims 4 where you play as 1 family for 10 generations, with each generation inspired by a color! Season 10 is BLUE

Kelsey, don't forget to have Vincent adopt Iris as a care dependant, otherwise he won't care for her autonomously. Also, while Iris is a toddler or child, maybe have Vincent 'adopt' her offscreen so that the family tree will show her as his daughter.
I had a thought ... would Vincent adopting Iris count towards the 'adopt a child' requirement?
@@VixLeu I don't think so, because River also needs to adopt the child. I suggested doing it offscreen because it's a way to have him as her father on the family tree, which is in line with him not knowing she isn't his.

I love that you decided to call Iris a rainbow baby! A rainbow baby is a baby after a miscarriage. Especially since you said they were struggling getting pregnant I thought it was perfect! I have two rainbow babies and they are the most amazing.
I really think it would be so cute if baby Iris also had a birthmark! Maybe when she grows up a little, she'll ask to have it covered up, so she can be pretty like mom - making River realize the impact her own insecurities are having on her beloved daughter

Naomi is likely someone in your sims's family tree. I think it would be fun if there was a student at Vincent's school who he wants to adopt sorta Matilda-esque
I actually love how River's siblings are both evil while River's the softer type and she struggles with self esteem. I love the idea she's got these corrupt but loving siblings who would cross as many lines as they have to in order to protect River from toxic friends from the past 🤣
Wow. 10 generations!! I hope you do a quick recap when this is all finished. It would be so crazy to see Minth, Rose, Summer... all the OGs! Is there a way to put them all together? Show them side by side or smth?
Since Vincent’s family lives so close I think it’s be nice for them to take pics with his family as well and put them around the house.

I am loving Rivers character arc. You are truly an excellent story teller. I’ve watched a few NSBs and River is a tricky one bc she is easy to not like with the affair - Here you play out such an emotional storyline that you just don’t see in the Sims often. - I’d love to see a little story for Iris… like a final NSB heir getting to do her own thing.
I'm a little sad that River didn't grow up closer with her uncle that is her same age... he was just forgotten. 💔
next time Vincent's family comes over, we could take some pictures with them as well, so all the photos around the house are not only of River and her side of the family

Kelsey I have an idea what if when you finish the challenge you make a little memory video about all your favorite moments from the entire challenge!!! I think it would be such a fun way go back and remember all of the accomplishments in the challenge!!!
Wait Kelsey! You asked us to download you families but one of our sims was literally pregnant at the same time as River! It would be super cool I they were friends and like met in a birthing class or something ❤

It would be cool if maybe they were trying for a baby but it didn’t happen so they started the adoption process and when they received their call they found out they are pregnant. They would raise both together as if their were twins.

I don't know if Vincent will acknowledge Iris as his child unless he either adopts as care dependent or if you change the relationship settings in CAS from household members to father and daughter. Alternatively I think in a certain mod (woohoo wellness maybe?) you can attempt to convince the father that the child is his.

I think River and Vincent should adopt a child soon! That way River can keep working on her aspiration. Maybe for the story, Vincent uses his connections through the school to adopt a child in need. ❤
ivy was my favorite gen and i can’t believe she and fletcher had two evil children! it doesn’t make sense! haha

I think that Iris should look so much like her real dad and her siblings look like a mixture of both Vincent and River. Well except for the adopted baby. Anyway, one day Iris takes a DNA test, like in High School, and realize that Vincent is not her dad and the whole thing comes spilling out of River.... The affair and that she got pregnant in a closet. Vincent gets SO angry that he moves out for a little while and then realizes that it was a long time ago, and he truly loves River and River loves him. River just made an honest mistake. Because true love over rules all. Meanwhile Iris goes to find her real dad and her real dad will have nothing to do with her, because he didn't know anything about the baby whatsoever, which causes his wife too up and leave him for good.
I've been here since Red Gen and I don't think I'm ready for it too end after Kelsey finished all the requirements like I'm not lover the occult challenge 😢😢

I'm watching this with my own rainbow baby! I've watched and enjoyed this series through my first pregnancy, and the loss of that baby and also through my second pregnancy and now with my daughter. She enjoys the videos too! She smiles and wiggles when your videos start. Thank you for both of our smiles :)

Iris is 11th gen, but I think that in order for River to complete her aspiration Iris and her siblings have to have between them 4 children of their own.

Kelsey I have a cute idea what if Vincent bonds with Elvis and they become close. Later he finds out Elvis is in foster care and isn’t having the best of luck in the foster home he is in. Then Vincent and River can try to foster him then they adopt him.

This is the 11th gen now… Blue was 10!
I think the game counts Iris as the 10th generation being born. Minthe was gen 1 but she wasn’t “born” into the family technically since she started as a young adult.
@@ninadreams127 yes. But the stream title says having the 10th gen in NSB. And 10th in NSB is blue.

Hey Kelsey - how about throwing a family reunion party after Iris has aged up to an infant? Then she could be introduced to the family ^^
With MCC you can modify the career outfit by going into maintain sim and modify career outfit. I always do it coz the career outfits aren't that cute.
