I hate that echo when I talk. I have a PS3 & PS4 and I don't know if there's anything similar to a kinect mic that would make that echo but I hear it sometimes. I figure most of them have their tv volume turned up and my voice is going back into their mic. I always tell them "whoever has their tv volume up its causing an echo. Turn it down." They never do so I mute them. Its the same reason radio DJs tell callers to turn their radios down. And its the same reason you hear screeching feedback when you put a microphone in front of a speaker. If you have a headset you don't need your tv volume on.
