What I really love about Mordin is he is a SCIENTIST DONE RIGHT. He's not some mad fucker ringing his hands and cackling. He's not creating a bio weapon because he's evil, he did it because it had to be done. He's not cruel, petty, like so many other scientists in media. He is a fucking man of science and though shall cower before his mighty singing voice.
Totally the fact he said "someone else might have gotten it wrong" Plus the song... Its just... Sigh. I cried for minutes after the explosion... like a baby.
I think ultimately the saddest part about losing Mordin was knowing that even though he saved the entire Krogan race, he likely wouldn't be remembered as a hero who made the ultimate sacrifice to cure the genophage. To most Krogan, Mordin was just another Salarian. But to the Normandy's crew, he was undoubtedly family.
Great tribute to Mordin. Very well done. I kinda wish you would have included the scene where he yells "I made a mistake!". One of the most emotional scenes with Mordin. But Overall, this is really great! :)
Mordin was always the character in ME2, like the one in use at his side had even if he was not a dps monster ... definitely the hardest decision if you have not played renegade! and only the following attributes: BAMM!
... collecting seashells ... i cry :(((( . And that moment in ME3 when you decide to shot him in the back is the SADEST moment in history of the games.
you are so f***ing awesome for this video :-) i loved mordin since the first time i spoke with him and you did such a great vid about him thank u so much :)
Am I the only one that wished he was a LI even if it ended shortly? When I first went mostly renegade and tried to stop him I thought she was going to shoot the elevator or tackle him...When she shot him a tear fell, I erased the data and started over. No way would I have been able to continue after that. My husband didn't even know you could shoot him.
what I wanted to say ... I do not have a record in demtribute: "I made a mistake!" he yelled it so intense ... the first time I have such a bekomm goosebumps! (but the camera work the scene in the play is ATROCIOUS!)
Thank you so much! And yes...I copied the text from another video and didn't change the album. :3 sorry ...Of course it is from Deus Ex: Human Revolution
I cried for a damn hour... IM A GROWN-@$$ MAN; CRYIN LIKE A 2 YEAR-OLD!!! To BioWare: fuck you, take my money. And the trophy, For the greatest trilogy of all time (though I take it all back with the release of Andromeda, but still...).
Is it just me or does it seem like that everytime I get to the part where Mordin is up in the Shroud, getting ready to cure the genophage, and he is is humming "scientist salarian" Down on the ground, just as Mordin is blowing up in the shroud, Shepard is on the ground singing the final notes of the song. So like as Mordin starts it, you have Shepard sadly finishing it. I don't know what I just feel like that would cool connection that Bioware could of did that would of made it more hard hittin
It still makes me sad that Mordin was the only Salarian to join your crew. Mutliple Asari and humans. Two Krogan. The Turian is with you in all games. One Quarian is understandable and in any case she's also with you in all three games. But only one Salarian? So sad.
When Mordin sang his song in ME 2, I laughed so hard. When he sang it in ME 3, I cried so hard. IMO, Bioware also killed Thane for the feels. Mordin could have found a cure. Even if he didn't have the time during ME 2, there was time at the beginning of ME 3.
there is no cure for kepral's syndrome. the only reason they could cure the genophage is because it was an artificial disease and they were the ones who designed it - specifically Mordin was the galaxy foremost expert on the genophage.
@@codyvandal2860 He found a cure for the plague on Omega in a matter of weeks. That was complicated because it crossed species. He potentially had months to cure kepral's syndrome. I believe Mordin was intelligent enough to find a cure in that time frame. I know this is all pointless because it's obviously not going to be changed. Lol I just really didn't want Thane to die. *sigh*
hehe yeah everyone loves Thane and you raise a good point, it wouldn't have been that unreasonable to cure it considering everything else Mordin does but Thane's whole character arc is kind of about his disease, and redemption etc
Just have to say that this is an awesome tribute to Mordin! Many of the various lines went perfectly together, and the music was well-chosen. Any chance you'll be doing a Miranda tribute?
Pretty well done, but I would recommend smoothing the voice sounds more. It is a bit loud and degrades a little bit the overall excellent quality of the video.
It's been 6 years since they released this game and This quote still bugs me. Mordin said it first in Mass Effect 2 and it was: "Had to be me, others might have gotten it wrong". Not "someone else", he first said "others" (also he had a different actor doing his voice, a better actor).
I almost broke my dad's chair when Mordin died. I had to get up and walk away for a minute because I was so devastated. Saddest video game death ever.
"He was the very model of a scientist Salarian."
I MADE A MISTAKE!!! Really hits you.
Whenever Thane died protecting the Salarian councoler, I wanted him to tell Mordin that Shepard said hi
The Legendary Edition is gonna make us weep again ...

God damnit Mordin. You were aweome. Someone else might have gotten it wrong.

I miss Mordin. He will live in my imagination with the rest of the characters of this beautiful story that was ruined with a horrible ending.
When he sings...#sniff#....its hard not to get emotional

Mordin and Thane break my heart every time!
I finished Mass Effect for the first time recently and oh my gosh... I cried for 15 minutes when Mordin died, I loved him so much ;-;
Damn you Mordin, you were the best of us.
yeah I cried so hard when he started to sing in the end.....goddess ...
Wow. Fantastic work on this video. Solus would be proud.

Wonderful and touching tribute to one of the best video game characters ever created.
Great tribute to one of my favorite video game characters of all time. I somehow loved Mordins way to look at life. A great persona all and all. :)
One of my favorite video game characters of all time! Great tribute vid Ty!
... collecting seashells ... i cry :(((( . And that moment in ME3 when you decide to shot him in the back is the SADEST moment in history of the games.

I search youtube to try and find some of Mordins best moments, find tribute, watch tribute and try not to cry...
Great vid tribute though :)
Omg I didn't come here to feel emotion! and now i'm tearing up! God dam you're good

4:42 no we won’t
