This video was helpful - I have a couple of things you may find useful. 1. A ratchet and socket will fit thru the holes in the running board below the chain case. 2. I would not spray parts cleaner into the chain in fear not all of it would come out and it would degrade the new oil. 3. I torqued the bolts to 7ft lbs ( 84 in lbs). Thanks for the video - it was a push in the right direction and it saved me from having to take the muffler off.

Ditto Mike Carr's post of 2 years ago! Not only will parts cleaner pose a risk of diluting or degrading the new oil, it may harm the important shaft seals.
This is NOT a good idea!
Remover the cover as per OEM instructions, check the chain/sprockets, adjust chain tension if need be.
Do it properly...... or don't do it at all!
Break cleaner evaporate in seconds. Don't be dramatic lol
Better to take the whole cover off and inspect the chain and tention too.
i think thats what he did when had the belt of the secondary clutch. but it is better to look in chaincase for sure. but his got a bunch of clutter in this ski doo to easily look at the chain case
Why would you take the belt off to change the oil?
