I think it was an EXO interview maybe but I'm guessing all mass membered groups do this too. His leg was shattered and needed a major surgery that includes a metal rod to be put there. ●His doctors suggested that he shouldn't dance for a long period if time ●He's getting old so the aftereffect is getting worse. ●He almost quit in Sorry Sorry Era. He was depressed because of Hangeng(bestfriend) leaves SuperJunior. (SMbeingabitchissues) ●Eunhyuk somehow convinced him not too ☆Pleaze be thankful that Heenim is present even if its just a few seconds.

What the fudge.. knowing the reason why Heechul doesn’t dance as much makes me admire him and SuJu even more. I guess it is frustrating for Heechul to not be able to dance as much as he wants to, imagine not being able to do what you love. Thankfully too the SuJu members were with him and still with him. I admire how for many challenges they been through, they worked around things so that they still remain as SuJu, together. [The #1 Question I'm always seeing, so here's an answer]: *Why doesn't Heechul dance until the end?* Many years ago Heechul was in a car accident which badly injured his leg. When he dances too vigorously, he experiences a significant amount of pain in his leg and ankles. So they do their best to limit his dancing time. Also Sorry sorry was the era where Heechul almost quitted Super Junior so he wasn't attending practices. Thanks to Hyukjae tho for not giving up on him and still included him in the choreo :)
Yeah.. At that time, the members who were initially recruited not as idol group members but as actors/ TV show casts (Heechul, Siwon, and Kibum) had to make decision whether to stay or leave Super Junior. When debuting Super Junior 05, SM also put trainees who were already been known to public as the member to boost the popularity of the group for year 2005 only. Heechul and Kibum already had some tv series back then. I don't know much about Siwon's predebut project, but Siwon once talked about how he had been asked whether to leave or stay in Super Junior and he's thankful for choosing to stay. In the end only Kibum decided to leave (that's why he had no part in 3rd album and barely seen in the MV). Heechul planned to, especially after what happened to his leg, but he was convinced by Hyukjae to stay. Blessed Hyukjae, and also the other members who are very understanding to our Heechul.

What the fudge.. knowing the reason why Heechul doesn’t dance as much makes me admire him and SuJu even more.
I guess it is frustrating for Heechul to not be able to dance as much as he wants to, imagine not being able to do what you love.
Thankfully too the SuJu members were with him and still with him.

*Why doesn't Heechul dance until the end?*
Many years ago Heechul was in a car accident which badly injured his leg. When he dances too vigorously, he experiences a significant amount of pain in his leg and ankles. So they do their best to limit his dancing time. When "Sorry Sorry" is performed live, he does a drum solo during the song instead of dancing.

His drum solo in Sorry Sorry is iconic. I'm glad they found something amazing for him to do instead of him dancing and hurting himself.
Also Sorry sorry was the era where Heechul almost quitted Super Junior so he wasn't attending practices. Thanks to Hyukjae tho for not giving up on him and still included him in the choreo :)
Yeah.. At that time, the members who were initially recruited not as idol group members but as actors/ TV show casts (Heechul, Siwon, and Kibum) had to make decision whether to stay or leave Super Junior. When debuting Super Junior 05, SM also put trainees who were already been known to public as the member to boost the popularity of the group for year 2005 only. Heechul and Kibum already had some tv series back then. I don't know much about Siwon's predebut project, but Siwon once talked about how he had been asked whether to leave or stay in Super Junior and he's thankful for choosing to stay. In the end only Kibum decided to leave (that's why he had no part in 3rd album and barely seen in the MV). Heechul planned to, especially after what happened to his leg, but he was convinced by Hyukjae to stay. Blessed Hyukjae, and also the other members who are very understanding to our Heechul.
