These vloggers/influencers are the ones we should all be following. Thank you for the good vibes and inspiring everyone with your journey. Love you both!
This channel is so underrated. Let’s spread the word about Flora and Note by sharing their video. I personally love their approach to present their journey. Very down to earth, truthful, and real. They seem to respect the people and places they come across and visit. Hope you both reach 100k subscribers soon. Much love.
That's so kind of you, thank you! We'll work hard and hope to get to 100K soon!
For more of you guys to come visit this place. Taking a bus No.166 from Victory Monument is much easier and cheaper. BTS: Wat Phra Sri Mahathat or SRT Red Line: Lak Si connected with Bus No.51 is not the most convenient way to go but cheap too. In the near future MRT Pink Line will go directly to Pak Kret, Ko Kret pier is just walking distance from MRT station.
Thanks for sharing this info so others can get there easier and cheaper than us 🙏😊
We took bus #32 from Phra Arthit rd in Banglampu all the way to near the pier ,5 minute walk to the left very easy.
@@tonztrirat3444 hi.can i know which pier you are talking about.im interested to go to.kot kret alone but a bit worry the way to get there and back.thanks
The boat only runs from Sathorn to Pakkret on the weekday afternoon. The alternative is taking a cab/bus to Sanam Nuea temple, 5 mins walk from Pakkret pier, and taking a 3 Bath boat ride to Koh Kret. It's much more lively there during the weekend. There's also a very good local craft beer bar on the island....highly recommended!
Thanks for your additional information about the weekend happenings on this island! Rounds out this nice review even nicer!
@oliveoyal You're welcome. It's not that far from where I live, so I'm there quite often. Most shops and restaurants opened till 5pm, except that beer bar that opened til 9pm. There are also several homestay places worth checking out!
Really enjoy your videos. Love the wonderflo of this video, the pace is perfect, drone shot, editing, smooth camera movement. Really easy on the eye and very informative. I missed Thailand so much. Thank you for capturing the ambient of Thailand that I remember.
Oooohh new location that I haven’t heard of, Kewl 😊 Bring on the adventure 👍
Very nice tour of the island. Enjoyed the ride through the wetland. I like Thai speed boats. The long skinny one which took you to the island. Never visited there, but must try next time in BKK. Thanks much!
WOW! I did not know a spot like this one even was in Thailand, it is so beautiful. This is a great video to begin 2023 with Flora and Note. Thank you Flora and Note for showing us this beautiful place in Thailand. I'm going to show my friends and family this beautiful video, thanks to the both of you.
hi very interesting, peaceful, nice bike ride, sure you enjoyed exploring!!
I've never heard about this place. Thank you soooo much for sharing definitely a must-go for me!
@@Midnight.Synergy
Thank you for sharing. Happy New Year, and hope you both are doing really, really, well.
Hiya. Flora and Note. Lovely video. Thank you for the tour around. Good fun on the bike. Your food looked tasty. Loved the pottery. Lovely drone footage. Good vibes always.
Have a wonderflo day.
I visited Koh Kret in November just before COVID hit. Like you, wife and I took the same ferry up the Chao Phraya river from Sathorn. It’s crazy the ferry does not go all the way to Koh Kret but the journey and views are nice. We took a very small speedboat, return trip it was THB800 as I remember. We also visited on a week day which suited us as we like to avoid the crowds. Also cycled around the island too which was very interesting. I recommend this day trip to others who like to see a different side of BKK.
Hello Flora and Note 🙋♀️ . Nice to see you again!
I took those river boats last year and went to Icon Siam. Will maybe check that Koh Kret next week when I leave Pattaya.
We went to Thailand last August 2022 and on advice by our tour guide, we spent our last day riding that boat and spent a good portion of the day at Nonthaburi. It was a great treat off the beaten path. We ended that day going to IconSiam. So Koh Kret will be added to our list for future visits.
What a neat spot - so close to BKK - who would have known - great work and Many thanks for taking us along 👋👌👍🙏
Thank you for this introduction! Looks amazing and added it to my "To Go" list :D
Make sure to go the easier and cheaper way..
Taxi to Pak Kret, before boarding the cross-river ferry (2B, 5am to 9pm) that leaves from Wat Sanam Neua
The music blasting at the end was everything 555. I hope Koh Kret recovers quickly from the recent flooding felt so sad for the lovely folks who own the pottery store their business has been severely effected by both Covid and then the flooding. Do buy their products if you plan to visit super affordable and make great gifts.Koh Kret really is a great day out.
Enjoy guys! Happy new year 🙏
So excited! We just got to our condo in Bangkok and we've got a Tao Bin in the lobby. We're going to try it tomorrow before work. :)
It’s always so wonderful to discover new places. I visit Koh Kret each time I travel to BKK. You may want to visit the Temple of the Rising Dragon…the temple is quite interesting but the grounds are even more so. It is a rather kitsch type place but well worth a visit for its uniqueness. The Thai name is: Wat Sam Phran.
This may make a great video for your supporters.
Blessings
Good vibes. Thanks for sharing
Lovely couple, Congratulations to you guys to heads Bangkok, Thailand this January of 2023.I wish you guys good LUCK always in great joy & peace 2023❤❤❤

As a Thai person, I was shocked by that extremely expensive price 😢
I'm so sad to hear the price. I used to cross the river with just only 2 bath each.
@@wizzle4live They hired a boat from that can sit 15 people nearly 10 kms away, and it's a round trip meaning the boatman can probably only do one trip in a day.
yeeeeeeeeeah, a new video!
We love u guys… always watching for new post… always praying for safe travels
Wowww - looks like you two sure know how to have an awesome adventure in Bangkok ! This is an amazing video to watch and would love to check it out when we’re there in February! Thanks for this video & cannot wait to watch your next one:)
Thanks Marietta! Make sure to go the easier and cheaper way... locals have been commenting under our video saying...

💕I'm so completely in love with this couple.✨
Thanks for sharing. Loved seeing your journey! 🥰Many fond memories of Thailand!
your videos are really well made - with gimbal and drone material - and it's great that you pay attention to the audio too wearing radio mics all of the time. I know how much work goes into this as I'm a TV cameraman. Do you do all of this on your own or do you have someone helping?
the vending machine drinks are soooo cool!
Regarding Tao Bin, Thai media reports said that Tao is the founder's nickname and his favourite hobby is flying.
Highly recommended Koh Kret. Great vibe with unique food you can't find in Bangkok.
At Nonthaburi pier just take taxi to Wat Sanam Nua then take a ferry boat to Koh Kret. And there is a tour boat around the island for 30-40 bath.
Ko kret is an amazing little island . Welcome to Bkk...again.
Wow! I can’t believe this is in bangkok! What a great video ✨
In fact it is NONTABURI the province adjacent to BKK. Bangkok green lung looks like this and it is called BANG GRA CHAO. Cheaper transportation.
It’s part of Bangkok Metropolitan Area or some foreigners might call it Greater Bangkok
I am shocked guys. I have been to Koh Kret using the small public boats at 20 Bhat not so long ago. There are a few of them. I came back on a slightly bigger one and I think I paid 10 Bhat. I got to the Pier area by taxi from Chatuchak area though.
They didn't know this cheaper way. They hired a boat that can sit 15 people nearly 10 kms away, and it's a round trip meaning the boatman can probably only do one trip in a day.
👍😍 lovely , so impressed
Enjoy your vloggs and Love You both ❤❤❤❤
Welcome to Thailand hope both of you enjoy in Thailand God bless 💟
Such a beautiful place!
You can leave from the Pa Kret pier and I think it was only 10 baht to get across on the ferry. It took about 60 seconds to get across to the island. But you have to take a taxi to the Pa Kret pier either from the Nonthaburi pier, or from the Ministry of Public Health Purple Line MRT station. But the taxi ride takes about 25-30 minutes, and there is a cost for the taxi-- although it was not 1500 baht. But yes Ko Kret was loads of fun. Go on a Monday when there are almost no other tourists there and you have all those bike trails almost to yourself, and the locals, and the dogs.
Thanks for sharing this info so others can get there easier and cheaper than us 🙏😊
I went there early Jan 2023, public boat was 5 Baht on weekends and 10 Baht on weekdays from "Wat Bangchak" it's not accessible by any public transport but there's also ferry at "Wat Sanam Nuea" for 2 Baht. This one is closer to public transport, accessible by bus from Victory Monument or Phra Arthit Rd, Khao San area but it can take more than an hour to get there.
Love you guys ❣️❣️
So cute 🥰🥰
Very relaxing 😊
@14:14 Many traditional burials (ash scattering) into the Chao Pryah take place just off this point.
Just a little tip: Ko Kret is not really the closest island near Bangkok.
That would be Bang K(r)achao which is significantly bigger, a lot less crowded in the weekends and a bit more authentic (I went to Ko Kret a decade ago and it was a lot less touristy than now).
For Bang Krachao it's just a quick taxi ride from Sikirit MRT station and then a little 2 min boat crossing for 20 baht. Then rent a bicycle for 100 baht/day (bring a copy of your passport).
Also, I think you guys took a bit of an expensive route - From Nonthaburi Civic Center MRT (Purple line) you can get a taxi and within 15 mins (probably around 150 baht?) you are at the east pier to Ko Kret where you get a boat for a few baht. The MRT's from anywhere in the center should take around 45 minutes and around 60-70 baht one way.
OMG 😲 😱 From Nonthaburi pier you can take a public bus to Major Cineplex Pakkret and go to Wat sanamchai pier and take a taxi boat to Koh Kret pier on the opposite side of the river, overall cost does not exceed 50 baht per person and about 30 minutes if not traffic jam 😳
12:47 Stunning my feeling a bit but it's suitable both of you cause that songs mean about couple lover😆👍
Welcome back to 🇹🇭 anytime
👍👍👍👍👍😍
1:11 Whoa thank you so much for the fun trivia. I never know it is a man made island.
Thanks for sharing ❤❤it.
beautiful video.
i like to go residential area .... this place look niceee :)
As a Thai, THB1,500 for a longtail boat trip from Nonthaburi Pier to Koh Kret is damn expensive. Next time I can give you a ride on my 2020 Camry for free.
@@tinykingdom4494 you should know that they pay RM50 for just a 10 mins trishaw ride in Malaysia, I will call that a real scam. Compared to a few hours here plus a boat meant for 15 people.
@@zhihui8885 you should know that I'm Thai and that area is my neighborhood.
Lije the way you tell story
❤ love this
You can also grab a taxi to Pak kred where is not far from Nonthaburi pier. Then take a ferry boat just 3-5 bath to koh kred. It’s way much cheaper 😂
I tried to go to Koh Kret last year. After all the effort to get there and get on the island I and other tourists were told we couldn't tour due to the high river level. When I go back to Bangkok I might try and go again.
Ohhh we’ve read about this place, but didn’t went there at the end. Now I regret it 😅
boat ticket seller Behaving badly with tourists The Port Authority must warn and improve
I was in Thailand for 2 months and received many bad treatments. Rude mostly or they just want your money constantly. Is tiresome and make your stay unpleasant.
You speak Thai so excellent.
Thats what I'm living in Bangkok for ever and ever
I was just there with my wife on a weekend and it was definitely a much busier atmosphere.
If you don't want a private boat you can use public boat to go to Pakkred or Wat Klang Kret
I think its the green flag boat but it doesn't have much travel
you might have to go by bus to Pakkred or taxi to Wat Klang Kret
Ko kret is just across Wat Sanam Nuea you can walk from Pakkred or Wat Klang Kret to Wat Sanam Nuea
if the boat doesn't stop at Wat Sanam Nuea pier
you can just ride a boat to cross Wat Sanam Nuea pier to Ko kret
Thanks for sharing this info so others can get there easier and cheaper than us 🙏😊
It’s probably the best place for craft beer btw
Good video
I'm from Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
Your vlogg every day whacking my favourite ❤❤❤❤
What a cute couple
More choices for transportation to Koh Kret that cheaper than private boat. Maybe you will find next time. ❤❤❤❤
These prices were in the past years, but I'm sure that there are the public boats running between Koh Kret and Nonthaburi on the piers. I've been there once.
You may take the wrong pier ...
welcome
Looked like you both were asleep on the train [ bts ] Wake up Flora don’t mis the 2nd boat, Note would wake you. Both boats looked fun. Lunch right on the water and looked yummy. Everyone you came across seemed really nice. Last day in Bangkok O NO. When you looked at each other I thought Flora was going to say Japan. Excellent from start to finish
Thanks Drew! It was a nice relaxing last day...we can't wait to share our Malaysian series. It's going to be fun and delicious :)
I miss Bangkok! Whenever we go there I do not want to go back in the Philippines. Who controls your drone shots anyway?
