Just got a notification for this song on my phone and I love this version by Conway better than elvis and Lisa marie singing it. I love Conway. I was fortunate enough to get to see Conway preform when I was younger(in my earlier teens) and get to meet him in person. he was talking to a group of handicap children and his manager said Conway this little girl would like to meet you and he stopped what he was doing and came over to talk to me and I said no sir you finish what you were doing those children were here first and deserve your time more that I do, I can wait, and he(Conway) turned to my dad and said sir you have a special and caring little girl there. when he was finished with the handicapped children I did get and autograph and a hug from him. Conway was the most caring and gracious person I have ever met. I love all of Conway's songs and also the ones he sings with Loretta.
I was 14 years old when I first met Conway he was playing in Milwaukee at The Cackle Shack 1964=65 IWhen i heard him sing i knew he was going to be a star I also liked his convertible!
Lisa sings this better than this girl. Put it this way i didn’t cry listening to this! How anyone could think that this version is better is off their rocker it’s meant to be interpreted as a sad song..smoother rendition more haunting this sounds too fast!
