People doing Car reviews has lots of lessons to learn from this guy. All they cover is mostly about its appeal, price, mileage 😂😂😂 and their personal driving experience.
Lots of respect.
your 30+ video was all about the vehicle and how to drive it. Loved, enjoyed and learnt so much.👍
Sir, if you do reviews on new released cars, auto manufacturers would like to have your first reviews.
But in India all don't do that much hardcore Off-roading tho 🤷🏽♂️.

Pahle hi muje practical life me gurkha sahi lg ri thi.. ab uske liye respact aur bdd gyi😀😀
Thats it, I'm going for the Gurkha. No second thought.
Thank you Prashanth bhai, for proving that power and torque are less of real world metrics and more of marketing statements.
Don’t be a fool, bro, there is big difference , gurkha is much heavy than thar, also thars tire was in slippery ground, this gurkha feels like driving truck , where thar is superb , we wer having both in the family
This video is meant for gullibles.
@@beesho9 Depends upon how much hardcore you want and how much you want to balance with comfort as well ! True.
As someone who grew up in the mountains with a 1950 vintage landrover, this review was nostalgic. I am normally disappointed by SUV reviews on tracks that I could drive my Alto on. So, I was engaged throughout. Thank you!

Same here. Grew up around Willys and Mahindra Jeeps.
Hahah! Also gurkha is heavy than thar and he is telling its all mathematics ?😂 wt is this sir 😄
Bht hi badiya review. This is the actual review that we offroad lovers needed to watch. Best review ever of a Gurkha. And as there's a saying Never mess with a GURKHA. Keep making videos for us Prashant sir. Love and best wishes from Delhi.

Perfect review of Gurkha.Really it is Big Boss in rough conditions.BHP +Torque etc .....are for racing not for driving in tough conditions.New Gurkha is winner in space, comfort and durability......For 4x4 knowledge enhancement, everyone should see this review deeply.Big thumps up.

Sir, I really appreciate your knowledge and skill about driving. You are absolutely right when you say that one should always use stock wheels or rims but I have one apprehension that bcoz of cost cutting companies may use cheaper rims or alloys, correct me if I am wrong.
👍👍👍
I agree.
you are right bro. there is no harm in getting aftermarket good quality rims or alloys as long as we are replacing the stock rims or tyres with same specifications aftermarket rims and tyres. when the specifications are altered then they can harm a vehicle's handling.
I own a Gurkha 2021 .. it is a great vehicle.. . I have no issues using it in city too .. I believe the torque/power delivery at lower rpm does the trick..
2.6L ka engine k hisab se performance low nahi lagta aapko?

How is the service experience from Force?
@@bodhisatwaghosh very friendly and prompt .. no issue is left unattended.. I believe it's a part of the image makeover that force as well as Mahindra is trying to do.. but in any case I atleast personally know 4 force people who have been very helpful .. and I believe that's a lot..
On tyre size and mods... I agree with you that company engineers work very hard to create a vehicle... But sometimes OEM parts like tyre / rim are to make cost efficient also ... So mods can be done keeping safe specifications in mind ... Hope I am correct
One of the best reviews not just of a vehicle but the technicalities of offloading and driving sense one needs to carry. Speaks volumes of experience Prashant carries. Force is underrated vehicle but once u drive it you can't get enough of it.
Prashant bhai I love both Gurkha and thar . But after seeing your video with Isuzu , there was no doubt in my mind to buy this truck. I proudly own this beast now. Thanks
😊😊😊
Your experience as an 4X4 off-roader is very evident in the video. Great Job Sir!
Thanks 😊
Thar is 400 KG lighter and Lighter vehicle always has a disadvantage in Tug of war. more fair test would be the independent comparisons and gauge how these cars behave in certain conditions like 0-100 test, Braking distance test, Climbing a steep incline with same terrain tires etc.
Gorkha hai to kya mount Everest chadegi kya wo line mast thi😆.
Old is gold weight matters.
Yes sir everything is math. and you prove it nicely, gurkha's heavyweight give better traction to overcome thar 's more BHP.
😊😊😊
Thar is heavier.

Great 👍🏻 explaining
I have come across so many videos but nobody could help me understand the situations in which we can use a diff lock. That’s how you explain the real use of a diff lock, thank you Sir. Just love your videos , they are so much informative. Get to learn in each and every video of yours. And yes numbers don’t play that much of a role in real world, people need to understand how capable of suv Gurkha is…
🙏🙏🙏
Gurkha is a pure quality of off-roading.....force motor thakath maye best...
Thar ko jan bujhkar peche kr rhe ho 😂😂 bhai Matlab kuch bhi 4*4 apply krne kr baad Thar me Brake Lge the fir ek dm se race dene lge 🤣🤣🤣
Yaad rkho Gurkha pehle bhi Thar ko peche nhi chor pai thi na ab chor paige 😂😂
Excellent review. All aspects of the vehicle clearly explained in all the videos. These are not just reviews. These videos are extremely helpful for 4X4 enthusiasts who want to learn the nuances..that too from a Master like Prashant Ji.. Hats off to you Sir.

Really happy to see ur knowledge about 4*4 cars, very useful info for new drivers... Nice vlog keep it up... Hats off to Gurkha...
In tug of war Gurkha has weight to pull thar….
Thar is light weight…. But I suppose In few areas Thar is far ahead than Gurkha, and Gurkha is ahead in few areas too….
I luv both cars…
Gurkha has mush better low power ratio than thar.
Gurkha produces 91hp @1600-2200RPM it shows less efforts to be put on acceleration 🔥🔥🔥

Wow.. wonderful... I learn alot from you today. Thanks a million. Now I am your new subscriber.
Gurkha baap hai on trails and tricky situations.
Gurkha hai low end power
Thar has power in mid range.
For urban exploring and moderate off-road- Thar
For hardcore off-road - Gurkha
it's power of force motors Ltd s team work,,, definitely force motors done again great job after force cruiser,,,,,,
Amazing sir you explained so many things thanks for sharing knowledge 🔥🕉
Good vudeo.. Appreciated! Gorkha can pull Thar because of its low weight. Mahindra can't compete Force in terms of car body..
Car's weight plays an important role in tug of war. Also change the sides of cars to have a proper comparison.
Aa gaye wapas ghar
Force Gurkha is more heavy than the Thar.. Definitely the Gurkha will win pulling each other than the Thar...

Sir, the car new GURKHA is matching with your personality perfectly.
Like u mentioned I was also thinking too much of bhp and torque.. now it's clear..there is a difference in theory and practice..
😊😊😊
Wondering if the traction from the tyres have anything to do with this? Or are we concluding that the Mercedes derived engine is better than the Mhawk? Multiple factors could be the reason. The mechanical components transferring the power to the axle, the transmission, gear levers...etc. Would be nice to know the key factors which make the difference. Thanks
Tug of War zhol tha. You are more bias with Gurkha.
Why was Thar not driven in same way like Gurkha ? STEERING TURNED TO LEFT, BRAKED IN MIDDLE OF PULL & FINALLY ACCELERATED MORE so that Thar looses grip making it easy for other car to pull which has constant grip & constant acceleration.
Apppreciate your experience but,Stop making people fool.
You are just awesome. I have been driving 40 years , almost all kind of vehicles. I have never seen a person driving in most difficult terrains in Indian Jeep with such a vast and wide experience. Really gathered so much knowledge, Sir from you. Earlier i had Gypsy. I would love to make a trip with you. I am from kolkata, and you can drive in Sikkim or in mountains of North Bengal. Love and respect to you Sir ❤
Sir, I'm from Durgapur. I'm thinking of starting my 4x4 journey.... planning to get a restored Gypsy or a Thar Crde (used)... Which one would you recommend
we have also made some videos on Force Gurkha performance : ua-cam.com/video/VPK4WxLFoTY/v-deo.html
I don't agree with having hand breaks on a little while driving down the hill or slope. I live up in mountains here in USA. This is how you suddenly loose your breaks due to heat created by constant friction. Best way is to use your engine break by driving in lower gears. Other than this, I liked this video.
Amazing Video. The best comparison on youtube about gurkha and thar with regard to power and torque.
Difflock Rules:-
1.) Steering should be straight. Make sure you are not negotiating any turn with difflocks on.
2.) Speed should be less than 30.
Its for front diff lock, right ?
@@sumeetghai8867 only the 1st point is for front diff locks, 2nd point applies on front as well as rear diff locks. It would be a lot safe if you not exceed the speed limit of 25km/hr with having any of your locks engaged.
Cheers

Force Gurkha kerb weight is heavier than Mahindra Thar
This is a plus for Gurkha

Well done force motors.
This Video is the theory "Crash course of Off-roading", Salute to Mr. Prashant, Legendary True Off-Roader.
Mast video. Educational. And the tug of war result very surprising
Great video! I am adding one suggestion, for winter driving in snow, taller and thinner tires are better than shorter and wider. The tire pressure should be between 30 and 35 PSI in the winter months to ensure that your vehicle runs smoothly on snow-covered roads. This is due to the fact that at lower pressures, your tires are more likely to get stuck or cause hydroplaning, which can lead to loss of vehicle control. You should not reduce tire pressure to increase traction on snow or ice. Though winter tires are a necessity in winter driving but if you are occasional winter driver, you can use something like "snow chain zip ties" in heavy snow. Remember, traction is the key, not the power in the vehicle in winter driving. Any car can climb any mountain provided there is enough traction between the tires and ground. Happy offroading.
Lowering tyre pressure improves traction. That’s what all hill drivers do.
very informative Prashantji. Cudos also to the person in the backseat who has been asking relevant questions . I am almost making up my mind for Gurkha.
This is what a reality is, thank you for sharing your precious experience with us ❤️👍🙏

Thar ki tau aisi ki waysi kar di.Gurkha is the Grandfather of Thar.Thar has name only .Why should buy Thar it is even not competting 20% of Gurkha. All new youngsters they know nothing about Gurkha and it's features they just criticise Gurkha and Praise Thar.Hats off to Prashant Bhai really you are the best driver of India.Your humbleness and politeness has won my heart.
Behatareen Prashant bhai! Ye video chhhaa jaane wali hai. Apko advance me bhot bhot badhaayi!

Gurkha is almost 400 kg heavier than the thar.... Which means more centre of gravity when u r pulling the thar..... And jin logo ko ye smgh n aya ho practical s smgha deta hu.... Mre pas arjun 555 tractor h which is 60hp...nd mne tug of war kia ek kubota ke 45 hp k tractor se.... M har gya har bar even my tractor was powerfull..... But then i realised my tractor is 300 kg lighter than the kubota.... So the point is thar offroading me best hai no doubt gurkha s jyda hi power lgaegi..... Bas pulling m gurkha age niklegi due to it's weight... Like my arjun 555 is well known for pulling heavy loads but its tyres slip due to light weight.... The more weight u carry the more centre of mass is applied it's simple physics guys.... Thar thar hi hai gurkha is pure off-road vehicle.... Its good but thar is more practical because thar offroading m to best hai hi sath me its beautiful.... Nd made in india wid pride..... Thar ko heavy krke tum gurkha to kya fortuner ko kheech lo engine m bht kch h thar k
This is the best Gurkha video ever 💥💥💥

I am planning to purchase Gurkha, can you tell me anything about how is the service experience with Gurkha
@@EdgewithHedge Hello Kausatav, thank you for the message. The service support earlier was not upto the mark but now for last 1 year i see good developments happening on the service support front and with the new launch of BSVI Model parallel to Thar, FML should gear up further. Please do note that you will not get the car service centres nos. similar to Maruti/ Hyundai/ M&M/ TATA because being lesser volumes of GURKHA, but yes you may get the pick and and drop facility. For more details you can speak directly to FML Sales and Service team or reach to few local GURKHA owners about their Service Experience. I stay in Pune.
Gurkha isn't safe at high speeds on highways due to its higher center of gravity. Thar is slightly safer due to its wider body and lower center of gravity. It's the power to weight ratio which is more important. Is thar heavier than gurkha?
Thank you Sir. I was always following the Gurkha. Was disappointed with engine specifications but you proved that Gurkha is Gurkha. Thank you once again. Going ahead with the booking ASAP.
