For a great swap try bar keepers friend and than scrub it with pine sol to disinfect. The bar keepers friend will take off any marks dirt stains etc and it shines your stainless like crazy. And thank YOU for mentioning the baseboards
Also I’m not trying to be rude lol I’m a professional cleaner and I’ve seen the damage it can do over time ! Sinks you can definitely use it in. But tubs are made from all different material.
