  • Hello guys and welcome to part two of this trip! Sorry it took so long to get this out, trying to juggle time to edit between the craziness of starting my own company is madness!! Haha, anyways today we deliver the load in Ottawa, pick up a reload, and deliver that with the Moffett! With all the troubles that could ensue... Stay Tuned!

I like seeing this side of trucking as well, the roadblocks so to speak. It's been a couple years since I've been on the road, I had broken my leg and ankle from leaning on the winch bar to hard whilst standing on the one foot on uneven ground...popped loose and CRACK LOL, dumbass maneuver. I thought I sprained it so shoved it in a lace up boot and trucked the 650 miles back to Montana and by then it was starting to give me too much grief, BUT I MADE THE DROP!!! LOL. Those little moments of things not going as planned seem to make you better at your job in the long run, so if we take them for what they are and correct it as calmly and level headed as we can then we stand to enjoy the moments more as they happen and come out seeing clearer even quicker the next mess up. Love trucking, after the oilfield it's the only thing that makes me feel at home, I'll go through all the fuck ups to live this life on the road behind the wheel of a big rig, it's home. Don't let the bastards get you down and keep on truckin 🤘🤠🤘.

Fun to see you rolling through my stomping ground and knowing how tight those corners are. Hopefully those gremlins aren't too much of a headache. Your manoeuvre past the parked truck reminded me of when I used to drive school buses. I had to go through some big pick ups at a construction site on a residential street. I was young and brazen enough to think, 'yeah, no problem. I got this.' As the truck mirror was going under my west coast mirror and an inch or so from the bus body, there were kids plastered to the windows on both sides and one of them was, 'whooooa, that's close!' That was when I instantly started sweating and thought, 'maybe this wasn't such a good idea.' I made it through without touching anything, but I was a little more cautious after. I will keep watching for your truck when I am out and about. And now it will be a little more easy to recognise with the decals. Keep the great content coming and thanks for bringing me along so my inner trucker can get its fill. Every time I finish your videos I think that maybe it's not too late to get my licence.

I used to run a '99 International, and it would develop lots of little electrical problems in the cold. It would work in the yard, but develop a thousand electrical gremlins 5 hours later in a much colder area, but then be fine when I got back to the yard where it was 10° warmer. Had to chuckle when your window wouldn't roll up; had that problem too!

I just got back from the Montreal area this morning. On the way back, between Kingston and Belleville, there was 3 trucks in the center ditch and a truck rollover, which closed the Eastbound side. I haven't been to Ottawa much in the past few weeks but Bronson has been closed off the 417 for road work.

Just something to check, my 389 would do the same thing with the turn signal indicator light. Usually when my 7 way plug would get moisture in it or it would get wet that’s exactly what it would do. Drilled a small hole in the bottom to let water drain and it’s worked for me since. I did have a bad ground that made it do it as well. Just a thought

Well, you drove thru my neighborhood. Trust me, there is a ton of salt on the roads and usually Ottawa drivers are pretty considerate and will hold back and give you room to make turns. Sadly, the younger drivers don't always practice good situational awareness. The key to remember in Ottawa. Carling Avenue (multi-lane road) runs parallel to the 417 from the Core out to the west and every major North - South intersection has signs directing you to an on ramp for the 417. Just avoid Parkdale Ave. The rest are all multi-lane and easy to drive.

I swear I saw a truck just like yours with B-trains a few weeks ago on westbound I-94 near Kalamazoo. Anyways, thank you for the videos. I drive all day long, and lots of time end up watching trucking videos at night. I absolutely love how good your truck sounds on my pretty high end home theatre sound system. when your fuel pressure gauge goes into red and its cold it'll be because its full of water. Check and see if the housings all cloudy. Had mine on my pete do it to me up in yellowknife out on the ice roads, pulled the filter cleaned the housing out and ran a new filter on done.

if you are feeling you are slipping, stop changing gear and keep 1 gear until you start to feel it flatten out.
and yes roads are usualy more slippery when plowed, as in snow you have grip, in slush/water--> ice you dont.

Frozen decks, straps, frozen slush on everthing, Yuck! I was wondering if you ever have to chain up and if you do how do you get them under those fenders or do you pull them off?
