- ZAN Slug, How good actually are they? In this video I am talking about my findings of these slugs . So the next video will have all the scopecam footage PLUS the .25 footage also . I cant wait to do the second part of this , Its going to be super fun I really hope you like it , I am rubbish at editing BUT I am trying to sort this ASAP , Anyway sit back, relax and enjoying some vague ramblings about ZAN slugs . I just received my first consignment of ZAN slugs today, Epic service only 6 days to get them to New Zealand that virtually unheard of. I can’t wait to try them.

I use the zan 10gr .177 , on a windless day I can make sub 1" groups at 85 yards out of my sub 12ft lb Brocock, they're ridiculous !
There are a few guys out there that “think” they can do it in .177 … I’m sure you can buddy . They are ace slugs and no mistake . I love the You Tubers that post the group and no shooting, always makes me laugh 😵😵
@@TripleGRogerLait alot of people use 35yrds as a benchmark on accuracy and never truly stretch the legs on the ammo and its capabilities, and also there's a trend where people put them thru their gun and take a few shots and say that the ammo is rubbish - not knowing that slugs are very fps sensitive and most of the time will need to tweak the fps you're shooting them at to get the best out of them. I'll never go back to pellets for anything other than back garden can blasting.. A tuned gun + slugs is just in a different league :)
My wolf doesn't care for anything over .2165 or 5.50 mm, resizing has made all the difference. I have the same HP blue midnight, heliboard though. God was that an aggravating journey. You can get the NSA's in .2165 and they are extremely uniform and are the only brand I don't have to resize because they offer so many diameters. I'm not saying they are what work best for me, but I am saying it would make it easier to test the size. I also don't shoot anything above 23 grains unless they are Griffins, which my gun loves. Pellets are pretty hollow, and I think the probe is pushing the heavier weight slugs too deep into the barrel and kind of hold the slug against the rifling and probe like a lathe would hold something, causing inconsistency. So, the 23 and smaller seems to work best unless they have a more sloped nose like the griffins, I can shoot 26 grain like lasers. The 25 HN are slightly shorter than the knockouts and work better than the knockouts. I think it would be possible to take a smidge off the probe length if you want to shoot heavier stuff correctly but then you might not get pellets past the transfer port. Just my 2 cents. Pellets are not my main concern giving their limitations.

I love the zan 33 218 at 995 fps out my fx m3 22 700mm very accurate slugs I'm shooting the 37 gr 25 cal out my fx mk2 25 700mm at 1000fps lol 😆 freaking 85 fpe I only get one mag I think k but dam they are accurate thanks for sharing bsafe buddy 👍
Bloody hell that is shocking buddy. Im shooting 37 grain Zans in .25 and getting just over 2 mags per fill on a 580cc bottle
What are your regs set at.on 22 & 25 ??
@@stedyone1090 i deleted the first reg on my m3 22 so sec is at 165 barmicro 3 line 3 1/2 valve adjustment 4 lines out with slug kit mk2 reg is at 160 bar om max with so play not maxed out at all ,,,,,,,,,,i deleted my first because the breathing hole would leak i changed out 0rings like 3 times still leaking fx usa sent me a new front reg but i see no need for it unless i had a 300 bar bottle till then it will stay deleted

@@stedyone1090 yes sir but your shot count won't be that high I get about a mag and one 1/2 mk2 shooting 37 gr zan and I get two full mags 56 shots shooting 34 gr varmint knockers at 995 fps with no front reg I just finished rebuilding my main reg on my m3 geez it so easy now I bought that witches hat and that piston puller from Bangall and kirk I that's how you spell it anyways make it easy putting the 1×2 0rings on the adjustment screw that guy from from sub 12 channel makes them I love those two tools fir the fx impact

I tried these in my nemesis x pcp, did not like them at all. Sent them to a friend to try in his s410, also did not like them

Slugs are sick wether they are out of a pellet gun or a 12 gauge
