do you know what NFT’s and crypto do to the environment? I’ve been a fan for so long and this would be my favourite piece you’ve done but it’s and NFT that ruins the environment. really disappointed vexx.
I was pretty upset too. Vexx was a huge inspiration to me as i got into art years ago and i felt like he started falling off as his videos went from being about art to being about youtube content. This video really surprised me in a lot of ways and i was super excited to see him back to focusing on his art, but then he mentioned NFTs and got upset. I expected better from him.
@@lettuce01 NFTs are solely about creating and selling art. There's no secondary content or service being sold like there would be on UA-cam, patreon, gumroaf etc. NFTs have made Vexx focus on an art project that he can be 1000% proud of, and make a money doing it. Should be a good thing.
@@kypritchYT yikes, that first sentence is one of the worst takes i've seen in a long time. it takes only a minute to look at some of the highest selling nfts and nft projects on the market to know that it has almost nothing to do with art. people buy nfts to sell them. it's about profit, art is just the medium being used. it's just like the contemporary art market, except for the part where nfts are using insane amounts of energy and killing the planet faster.

@@immure7865 let me explain, the NFTS are hated so much becuase of many reasons which are steal of artwork (becuase is well know the fact that a lot of nfts are stolen artwork), the damage to the enviorement , and with this I mean the excesive use of energy that is been used for crypto mining and the fact that you can easly get scam with this type of currency Oh and by the fact that you call everyone that hates NFTS "sheep", just make's me feel you dont know any of this facts
@@FJ-rm4kr okay, if you care that much about the environment, you’d know NFTs arent as big of a problem compared to a lot of other things, it’s basic knowledge and takes like 5 minutes to search up. A lot of stolen artwork that are sold as NFTs are often sold for so little it barely matters, or just not recognised at all, if it were a big matter the creator of the artist can simply sue and get money from it. These factors only play a big part if you focus on the NFT market itself. Outside of NFT same problems but a lot worse. Sheep or people who focus on NFT by it self it seems bad, but again not in comparison to the normal world
Overall id say that the vid is cool, but id like to see the actual work and thought process behind the work, sketches, discussing the thought process, giving some background into the origin of the work etc etc…

Honestly I stumbled on this channel while going through channels to unsubscribe from, I was going to unsubscribe from you until I saw this video, while I don’t agree with nft and don’t believe you need nfts to creat a masterpiece like this, I am extremely happy with this video , all the doubt I had of you has gone away and I am left in awe, everything from the video to the art piece MOON is fantastic , I was sad when you became like Zach making content that in my opinion felt more clickbaity or a way to make views rather than making actual pieces that were amazing, but this video has to be the best video you have made so far, the passion in this video is out of this world and beautiful, keep up the great work( though I do advise to check in the dangers of nft and it’s impact on the environment, you don’t need an nft to make your art timeless, what makes it timeless is the passion and love and creativity you put in the piece)
