This folk tale describes the friendly relationship between a Monitor lizard and a lizard. By clearly recognizing the character of the lizard as a sinner, the Monitor lizard-Bodhisattva forbade his son to associate, but he disobeyed. As a result, the lizard told the hunter about the location of the Monitor lizard, so the hunter caught almost all Monitor lizards.
