Layla, very creative and helpful. I have been to Japan a couple of times but did not realize there were so many subtle distinctions between these two words. I am trying learn beginning conversational Japanese now as a beginner and your posts and videos are very helpful. Arigato gozaimasu, Wayne.
This video is so great! I love that you added the history of the words, it honestly helps so much. P.s. I noticed you said we might need subtitles to understand but your English is amazing (:
It's really nice to know which one to use. Been using duolingo and rocket Japanese. Duolingo doesn't really help which conversation and which situations to use the right words or phrases.
Arigatou Gozaimasu!! I'm learning a lot with you. Thanks for all your efforts doing these videos, they are awesome. Btw, Im not an english native speaker and I can perfectly understand you. Keep it up!
Wow, thank you for this. As far as apologizing, I wonder if Canadians and Japanese are related somehow, lol. Thank you for taking the time for sharing your knowledge
Many thanks for such useful information ! Ur English accent is very cute It's very pleasing to listen to ! Honestly, I triple checked if I liked the video and subscribed ! Keep up the good work !
What about I am walking distracted in the street and by mistake I hit someone making him/her fall. すみません I think is very light. Is it correct to use 申し訳ありません?

I picked up the phrase 迷惑をかけてすみません, and I'm hoping I don't ever need to use it! 🤭
Thanks
