Really amazing how Scan lived this long. Shuttle was definitely the most dangerous unit in this match.
The ability of Scan to survive for so long, just wow. Besides great multitasking, might be his intuition of when to siege/unsiege as well.
Excellent play by Dewal - he had plan for the match and executed it perfectly from early game to the late game. Its not easy to win pvt on hbr. Great performance by Dewalt.
Dewalt said on the stream that even with big supply advantage its hard to kill terran on this map, so he basically was wearing terran out
scan not dying for the first half was shocking
playing at a disadvantage the entire game that was impressive
My lords, Terran is hard to stomp out! Dewalt had double the supply, double the income, double the production for that entire match and it still took him a half hour to finish off Scan.
I might still prefer Bonyth but man Dewalt is godly.

And T is very strong on small maps.

Excellent game. Incredible resilience from Scan, but even better constant aggression and game sense from Dewalt to maintain his lead and close out the game.
What an intense game! My main is Terran and I felt so much pressure throughout watching the entire game and exhausted afterwards. Fantastic game!
Wow, look how long could Scan keep up with his bases for so long despite the fact he was falling behind for the first 13 mins, he really managed to fight well and bring back SCV count to normal and then expand at the twelve o’ clock base. Just very impressive playing there and stop the first recall. Otherwise, he would have been worse. GG for both players!

Protoss play here was very good. It was full of tricky but honest moves. Scan played very good, he reflected a lot of hard attacks, but there were successful, enough to win. My respect to both players
idk what you mean by honest moves. anything that gives you an edge is a solid move. "cheesing" is a solid move. its hilarious how going reavers used to be called a cheese and lousy move but now that the "pros" do it its no longer seen as a cheese, however terrans still whine about dt's being a cheese haha. its not a cheese, its a proper thing to do and the terrans who lose to it sucks balls.

@@Stance1988 I would like to say you are right. Unhonesty here comes with the start of the game mostly, when they can make a quick DT and even with failed cheese continue with winning position.
So, the painful game would be where the one side picks the strategy the other side may lose in a moment the strategy is revealed.

Why not keep a shuttle with reavers floating on top of the army you want to recall?
They won't use "recall space", bc they're inside floating units.
When recalling, you kinda want to do the most damage in the shortest time, and reavers has the highest damage of the game.
They will be safe from mines, bc they will trigger on the ground army..... turrets won't target the shuttle cuz they're targeting the arbitrer....

I think if Dewalt works on his multi-tasking esp macro, he easily could have ended this game earlier
totally agree. When I watch his stream you can tell he's just not fast enough to be a pro. I hope he works on it though, it'd be cool to see a non-korean in ASL!

Why don't you see offensive gas against Zerg? Zerglings kill buildings too fast to make it worth it?
Probably it's just pointless since Z usually take fast natural, so if needed they can just take gas there and it's too expensive to block both.

I think this match is a clear evidence that despite being a Korean, Scan is NOT a pro player, his level is quite far from them.
his profession is playing starcraft which is the definition of a pro player but there is a gap between him and the top.
Or it might be evidence that Dewalt is a really good player. Or it might be evidence that TvP is an incredibly difficult matchup.
I really have no idea where you're getting off making such an extreme statement with such confidence.
Dewalt can beat pros sometimes, and Scan has made it into the ASL before as well. Please stop posting bad takes like this. A lot of casuals don't realize how good Dewalt actually is.
There are differences between ASL player and pro player. Larva is the best example of it. He is pro player but not ASL player. ASL is another story. Scan ? Well his "macro" is low. You can see couple times his mineral reaching 900 while he was needed vultures.
@@carlng8438 DeWalt has one of the best execution of build orders, his play is very proper. If he manages to multitask effectively he'd be unstopable.
