Changes you missed: Turret traverse dispersion from 0.10 to 0.18. Reverse speed from 18 km/h to 12 km/h. Dispersion of a damaged gun from 0.69 to 0.77. The terrible pen plays a massive part into the requirements tbh.
On the NA server many heavy tank players stay in the back and attempt to snipe and never push. Often I get so sick of this I take my light td and move forward trying to take their role. 😒
@brealistic3542 As much as I hate that as well and it ends in enemy free development, sometimes I enjoy also taking my light TD into city when we start winning control and being like move bitches it's my time to shine
Once, I pushed in my Loẅe because nobody else would. Not even the lights and meds. Fortunately, I was going downhill by the time they spotted me. They didn't have time to aim properly I got behind cover, waited for support, and helped to win the battle.
The problem was never the top speed nerf it was the dpm nerf+accuracy nerf, i mean the cran was anly good beacause of dpm and it was nerfed and the gun handling already felt like shit before now it feels like super trash.
It's mainly the astronomical gun handling nerf plus the accuracy nerf that really makes this tank feel bad to play now, doesn't go well with low penetration on both standard and gold rounds.
it was not the top speed which got smacked, it was the gun (+0.03disp), turret traverse (almost doubled!). Thanks to that actual hit ratio went down probably by a shell per clip. And gratis it got -33% in reverse - so that after missing your shots thanks to the derpy gun, you get some smacks in return.

i swear there are so many sheep in this game, just sitting around doing nothing when they could easily push and do something, and they only push when some brave warrior decides to go first and sacrifice themselves
I’m going with the improved vert stabs and the experimental turbo thing to also increase the turret rotation and I have the improved accuracy but I don’t really see the point in the hardening as if you know how to use the turret to the max of its ability’s I think that you won’t really need to trade that much unless it is a city map then yea hardening.
Nowhere near as good as you or any good player really, but I felt that "My team is not pushing so I, the support heavy, as to in order for the game to be won at the end of the day" I think this is what is pulling me back the most : I expect things to happen from my teammates that usually won't (or too late), so I'm taking risks instead of strategic choices to capitalize on the momentum... Again, a lot of time I'm the one doing poor choices alone, but those moments are infuriating
The bigest kran nerf was the turret dispersion from 0,1 to 0,18 as in nearly double bloom while aiming to a moving target. How ever with the new crew skills it feels much better. For kran i dont relly care about track health as if they see your hull you will die anyway as the hull is made of paper. You should never expose your hull to be shot in the first place.

13:27 you already have the 3rd mark, so you technically shouldn't care at that point, unless I'm incorrect, tracking and spotting damage only separate when counting marks, not total XP or credits earned
Perhaps he is going for 100% of MOE. In general, many players take their combined damage and assistance as a measure of how well they performed, which likely the case here
Back in the days, as I was a 500 WN8 noob, I was playing the Krank on the test server and it was the only tank I didn´t had problems getting 3k dmg, so op was it

If you get overly frustrated by muppets that sit back in heavies afraid to take a shot like their literal lives depend on losing no HP in a game .. your gonna end up seeking psychological help lol
That arty focus in the first game. Man, I hate arty player who only focus on one tank or spot. I play arty ever since the Beta-version and I never saw a wargaming tutorial, or mechanic explained vi on how to be a propper arty. Such a shame because those players with that tunnel vision behaviour ruin the game for so many people.
The tank is still good! Even tought I don't use the same equipment, the tank is still very strong, I used vstab exp-turboLv3 B-vents and I focused the field mods on aim time 1 (all of them) and reload time. Honestly the reverse speed is bad but manageable, I don't have your level so I play more slowly, and I guess it does work! They way of playing the krangvagn didn't change, you still have the fairly good intra clip and a great total of damage if you hit all the shells (1k hp dmg is never bad) and while my set up feel sluggish, the 21sec reload make up for it as my openent, I guess are seeing that I have more often my mags, at least more than I should so I have the advantage of surprise. The tank is still fast forward and still has a sturdy turret, and you can overcome the dispersion with the new crew skills.

Top speed nerf, does matter because maps aren't flat and grousers were taken over turbo anyway if you knew what you were doing. Reverse speed nerf forced us to take turbo. Because we are forced to take turbo and vert stabs we are left with less options for game play in general. Boring, good players don't want to play boring and shit tanks. They will play good tanks or good and boring tanks but not shit and boring tanks. Expectation values decrease
In my opinion, you are holding to the old kran stats a bit to much, he was op, and now he isn't, you actually need to think before making alive, and while before nerf kran was more forgiving with his old mobility, that only means that good player will appreciate this iteration of the kran. I think that the kran is a litle bit out of the meta on most map, but the kran player kan now be called "krangvagn enjoyer" as a sign of skillfulness.
Kran was mega nerfed Max, the reverse speed was mega nerged, the stabilizations, acuracy dpm and everything about the gun was mega nerfed, the gun heandeling is the thing who kills it now for me. It is not even close to what it was, it was my favorite tier 10 ht and i 3 marked it but now i never play it, i cant play with such a derp gun heandeling .
Its just insanely boring and frustrating to play, gun is bad, pen is bad, dpm is bad, its not fast nor nimble really, has no hull armor. All it does is sit hulldown and being unfun to both sides. Enemy basically cant pen you but you cant pen him back bc the gun is troll and the pen is garbage, shells are also slow so it just makes the gun feel worse. The way wg "balanced" obnoxious tanks like kran and 430u by nerfing the gun to the ground instead of nerfing the armor is definitely not the way to go, they are just annoying for both sides now

The dispersion during turret traverse also massively nerfed. Combine with the dispersion nerf the gun feels terrible. That's why ppl hate it.

Yup, combine that with underwhelming penetration on every shell type and it's just hard to hit/pen consistently.

I used that top speed though - I would setup with Grousers and turbo, and went 65kph. it was fun

Ez why marks are low you have to use HEAT or have skill. Most do not have either the skill or the credits.

No. 60TP is just better. It doesn't get a good ability in comparison for what the damage output is.

I already have it, it has bond turbo i cant detach, turret armor is not that bad and when theres teamwork ot does wonders on onslaught.
But i still preffer a good dpm tank before any autoloader. Lik ñe the T110E5

I still love the kran. 12° gun depression with this insane turret armor always allows you to deal good damage, regardless of the nerfed dispersion.
