Actually I kinda like Sang Woo at first but when he betrayed my other favorite character Ali I don't like him anymore (note: I only hate the character Cho Sang Woo, not the actor that played it, Park Hae Soo)

why this game the rest remain 17 people only since actually the players have 40 but the doctor have died so become 39 and the madness lady exempt from this game so now the players that play in the game is 38 with 19 team. So assume that 19 players will come back but the true is only 17 players where the rest 2 players?
Why would you ever pick more than 2 marbles? if the other player is right, and you have an even number (2 marbles) then you only ever lose 2 marbles at the most. Why would you choose to hold 6 marbles?
because they were under a time limit - as the commenter above said, if you win that number of marbles then it increases your chances of winning before time is up
Fun Fact: The reason why Sang-Woo always wears a collar-neck jacket is because he ripped his shirt and made it a pouch to give to in game 4/6 (Marbles.)
