@@Marinanor a witcher would be stronger than most non-elite NPCs in Azeroth ( for example enemy city guards or most of the hostile regular monsters) but he would definitely be weaker than powerful heroes like Jaina, Thrall, Sylvanas...so I would say a witcher would have the potential to becoming just as powerful as the player characters in Azeroth
I think Geralt would be fine if he got summoned in wow. He was alright when he got accidentally teleported in the monster hunter universe, even though it was for a short time he adapted really quick to is new environment.
Simon Brosseau That barely counts, he had to fight a creature from his own world. And the jagras are push overs. I know you didn’t say this but Geralt wouldn’t be able to kill a elder dragon. So monster hunter isn’t a good show of his survivability but he is crafty and intuitive.

@@Cocacolucarasol869 Death Knights use more necromancy and rune magic for their combat. A spellbreaker would be more in line of what Geralt is, since they are warriors that use arcane magic without the use of runes engraved on their weapons
Actually the new model of Lor'themar Theron is very similar to Geralt of Rivia and even the concept of a Witcher is very similar to a Blood Elf Spellbreaker in lore (a warrior who dabbles in arcane magic and is very apt to fight against other magical creatures) ...so I guess Geralt not only would quite easily survive in WoW but he could also lead his own kingdom of elves independent from the Humans 😂😂 (Quel'Thalas = Dol Blathanna)
Funny thought: Survival hunter is closest you get to witcher as a class/spec combo. Mainly close combat? Check. Small crossbow as a side arm? Check. Uses bombs that have different uses (pheromone, shrapnel, poison etc.)? Check. Master tracker? Check. Generally versatile combat? Check. Basically the only thing missing are the signs witchers use.
A century of fighting various kind of creatures in the Witcherverse would translate quite well into Warcraft. Adjusting to the new environment wouldn't necessarily slow Geralt for too long, and since he isn't really phased by anything, he'd do just fine.
I really like the concept of this video, hoping that you would do more of them later on ! Comparing other fantasy worlds to warcraft's is a superb idea honestly. As always, an amazing work ! Edit : I also believe that the closest class we have (in-lore) to a witcher has to be a battle-mage.
Sure. I'd try a spec which packs cloth, magic barriers for defense and melee range spells which would get fueled by damage to the barriers or something like that. Could go crazy, and make it a tank spec. Probably too risky for Blizz, though.
I want a Witcher class or Spec in WoW now. Humans and Kultirans for the alliance while the horde gets shadow Hunter. Troll and Zandalari troll for Horde!
Honestly I would use a Survival Hunter to represent a Witcher, partly for the mixture of mail and a two handed weapon, and partly because it does fit decently well in my opinion. Good skill in melee, but mix in secondary items to aid them in combat. The main difference would be the pet, but a basic dog would probably be fine.
Hunter seems like a great fit for him. Herbalism/Alchemy are a good profession to have. He can learn aspects of the Hunter, maybe even tame his own wolf. Otherwise the Survivalist would be a good option.
Witchers would be extremely effective battle mages in Azeroth. Magic in the Warcraft universe takes time to cast, a lot more time than Witcher signs. That ability to quickly cast signs, along with their reflexes, enhanced senses, sword skills and just the overall speed with which they move and fight, makes them extremely dangerous. Their skill set, plus the mail/leather armor they wear would make them something akin to a melee hunter build, except with sign magic instead of pets.
the only creature Geralt cant take 1v1 is an Elder Vampire, and said Elder Vampire would take any lore character i think (except for a titan or the most powerful of characters). The pricks are just so OP.
Witcher in warcraft universe would be so cool. They can be mercenary like 3rd faction and assist alliance and horde for a toss of a coin. #GamivoGameTime

I think, if Mage Warrior Geralt and that continent were summoned in Warcraft world? It would be an RTS Game all over again because he is just so powerfully awesome? He just might end up with The Horde after some great betrayal. In other words, I think he would be the Sarah Kerrigan of Warcraft, and Yennifer is set down a different road as a result.
