Ghanaian rap legend Sarkodie delivered a verse criticizing the tremendous influence of major record labels in the African music industry in ‘Hennessey Cypher 2024’

I think u start breaking Sarks part well but lost it at a point, see , the subject he touched on is too sensitive, it’s comes with consequences if u are a musician and u touch on it, but he did. He is indeed the landlord, so don’t say the tongue twisting is the only thing he did.

I don't think I lost it, I know the issue he is addressing. Also, I said it's only a tongue twistint as in Ladipoe talked about a topic but involved all other factors such as word play and punchlines, etc.
He did preach, but it doesn't mean he shouldn't involve what makes rap music rap music. It could also be like he wanted any other person to understand instead of adding all these double layered bars

A bar is a measure of time in music, and in rap music a bar signifies a verse of the song within a 1, 2, 3, 4 count. After determining the bars, you will be able to write your lyrics within the confines of a bar. SO DONT SAY NO BARS! Also don’t say it has no punches even though he didn’t focus on that much.

I wasn't expecting sarkodie to prove to us either, we know he got all of them, I was just reacting to this particular verse, also as a reactor, whenever we say bar, we mean wordplay where we have to break it down and be like oh that's a bar. Thanks for your opinion, tho.
