@@stayer85 no I don’t however I just took it in over the weekend for it’s first service and there were 2 recalls that had something to do with the infotainment center
I just got one to replace 2018 PP, nice ride but notice a little annoying deceleration while coasting due to the regenerative braking. Do you notice anything? It is easily visible while viewing the consumption meter in display.
This was a fantastic review All of the essentials were discussed I watched this and thought I was provided with all of the information required to make a purchase of the Audi Q5 Thank you verry much!
Hello. Is there any one know why there are two different looking spindle grille on this Q5 ? Thank you so much . Like this reviewing grille looks cheaper than others.
Hi Megan, this Q5 is a Premium Plus. For 2022 the closest you can get to Cognac is Okapi Brown which this Q5 had. Bit of a deeper color than what BMW offers on the X3
The Front crash mitigation does not work (on my 2022 Audi Q3 with the Premium Plus Package including Pre-sense and Pre-sense Front crash and pedestrian mitigation). It does NOTHING to help you in the event of an upcoming crash! (Yes, I have it activated correctly.) I brought it back to the dealer and they said their "diagnostics" showed that everything was fine. After about 3 hours of arguing with the Salesman, the Service Manager, and the General Manager, their conclusion was that the Pre Sense and Pre Sense Front were only made to warn you and apply the brakes when you are A FEW INCHES away from whatever you are about to hit! The Subaru I traded in warned me at least 2 - 3 car lengths before and applied brakes at least 1 car length before. I set up rows of cheap Styrofoam ice chests in front of the car and tested the car at low speeds and higher speeds and my "warning" was a slight beep AFTER SMASHING THROUGH THE STYROFOAM (and the brakes never activated). Of course the dealer would not let me demonstrate this to them when I went back with the ice chests. I'm selling the POS and buying another Subaru.
LOL. The Audi isnt a "POS" because the presense crash only warns you after not breaking fast enough. Thats literally one feature of the car. Who the hell sells a car because it doesnt beep fast enough. In fact you shouldnt even need to use the crash feature. Sounds to me like youre speeding. in the 2 years Ive had my 2020 rav4 ive only had the precollision warning twice and thats when i was texting and driving.
its a decent choice.... too bad MMI wheel is gone... also i cant get it with seat ventilation or non-leather option... also no full size spare is a deal breaker.
You clearly have never owned anything in this category. 1. The Audi Q5 spare wheel is a collapsible spare wheel that is inflatable when needed. 2. There is seat ventilation - its called the WARM weather package 3. Entry-level BMW vehicles do not come standard with genuine leather, unlike high-end models. Instead, they include fake leather called SensaTec. Standard plastic seats are available unless a premium seat of real leather is purchased or the vehicle is at the higher end of the line.
@@Ela-cw7fi omfg :D i dont give a shit about that terrible collapsible spare... have fun inflating your wheel in cold or bad weather.... also where are you gonna place full size punctured wheel in case of full cargo area? because it wouldnt fit in that collapsible spare wheel space under the floor..... so i dont want a car without full size spare. you cant get seat ventilation in every market on the planet, thats a fact.... same with non-leather options... i dont care about bmw, if i want audi and i dont want a leather, no matter if fake or real, i have no option.... if you have , it doesnt equal that everyone around the globe has.... you look like an offended fanboy. respect other views and opinions than yours FFS. 🙄
Just traded in my 2016 A5 convertible for this Q5 hybrid (top of line) .... quite OK except the sound system is a total failure. Sounds terrible; file system mess up one of t the 2x 32G partition sometimes shows and sometimes not; File scroll wheel is gone and have to use the left thumb wheel or use hand to scroll on screen (dangerous); better have a 220V charger the 110V will not cut it, takes all day and night to charge the 23 miles range battery. A lot of power, smooth ride and comfi indeed. Remember that there is NO spare tire. Still would not buy w/o the 7500 rebate.
@@neil78b Audi doesn’t currently have a direct competitor to the X7 as of right now. There’s been spy shots of an upcoming Audi Q9 but we’ll be waiting a while for that to arrive here in the US
@@BostonAutoBlog I don’t understand… the q5 and x5 have the same size inside, outside the q5 is wider and x5 is longer but equal overall. One is just better priced but that’s irrelevant.
I just got one of these this month and so far it’s the best mid size suv I have ever driven.
Do you have slight knock in the transmission?

Got the same vehicle and colour, love it
Quality review. Would love to see you review the TFSI 55 PHEV version.
Do the x4 2022 vs q5 sportback 2022
👍
What about the oil usage has this been corrected?
Yes that was an issue in the earlier models. They fixed it around 2017 I believe.

Thanks
Got same just black edition
Hi! What trim is this? I am unable to find the cognac color interior with any of the packages I saw online. Thank you for the great review

How I wish all manufacturers just integrate the infotainment system into the dash. This ‘afterthought’ of an infotainment system is just not it.

Why is he comparing this to the X3? This is q5 vs x5.
Because the X3 is the same size and same price as a Q5. The X5 is a Q7 competitor
@@BostonAutoBlog Then what do you compare the x7 to for Audi?

The x7 and q7 are identical in size only 2 inches of difference as well… I’m sorry but you’re not making any sense.
