How do you get so ahead of the ai so quick, im on console running everything you are and i cant seem to get past them and im sure its making my time slower

How are you so smooth with direct mode. My cars snap oversteer. When I swerve it is very difficult to keep the car in control and not spin out. When I turn my wheels they scrape so much and lose speed in wide fast
corners.
Settings I have: 100 linearity, 0 deadzone, 100 highest, full tc and no esp full abs.
