The only app I used associated with Amazon is Prime Video.
I cancelled (I think, hopefully I did it correctly) my 30 day free trial before it ended. (I still had the benefits at the time)
And once I did that, I deleted my account.
Will I still be charged on that account?
(I've gotten an email about it expiring, and that I MAY have prorated charges until July 3rd).

My hatred of Amazon's business practices in the UK stems from the fact that there is no way to opt out of the offered Free Prime Trial when you order something. There used to be a checkbox you could tick to say "no thanks", but every time recently I have tried to order an item without being sucked into the Free Prime Trial, there is no such checkbox any longer. To reiterate, you cannot say NO to the Free Prime Trial offer if you wish to continue to "buy now". Every now and again I return to Amazon to see whether Amazon, in the light of the FTC lawsuit, has made the buying process any fairer by giving the customer a choice, but no dice. We shall have to wait until Amazon appears in court in 2025. Meanwhile I buy only on eBay.
