    About Stillworks
I make videos of my daily shop life and all the crazy things I’m working on. That could be project builds, woodworking skits, more introspective stuff, and educational videos. Think of my woodworking as exactly what you do: Not specializing in one thing, rather cranking out whatever comes to mind, regardless of genre. Thanks for watching!

Ha, so basically be a woodworking circus performer. I broke everything down recently but did keep the Norm car and deathball as momentos.

Again, just blown away by the "figureoutness" of your brain... I would have laid down my table saw after the lighting of the fire... how? just how in the world did you have the patience. Thank you! And now that you have to check into an institution you will always have the memory of Ikea being smashed! Atta kid!

And remember, regarding preserving elevation for the potential energy, it really doesn't matter too much. Even the smallest potential can trigger something at the top of the module again. It's really only necessary if you plan on taking a single object through a lot of steps. Ultimately, that potential energy of a bowling ball at the top was me doing it. .. and if i hit the floor, I can redirect the motion to something else up high, that has more potential. Like, a bb falling 5cm over the length of one meter to its lowest potential, the floor, could still close an electrical circuit that operates a small, but powerful electromagnet back at the top of the module. That magnet pulls a pin that release a bowling ball maybe. Anyways, preservation in all things, but remember, there's more than one way to skin Schrodinger's Cat, at least that's what I think he meant to say.

Good insight. Another reason I didn’t want to travel the full length of the 8’ plywood is for filming purposes - the less I have to dance with the camera, the better
