Great video, just stumbled across your channel.. Grew up in Peterhead,, every scholl summer holidays over the Asco Breaker fishing. Got caught at the North Breaker, swell came out of no where. Stuck at end of breaker for around 4 hours, not a nice expeiance as a 15 year old. Days before mobile phones, mother was in a panic
Cheers bud, sounds like you were very lucky on the north breakwater, I can imaging yer mither being up tae high doe! Glaid she got her loon back safely. Thanks for watching and commenting, stay safe and tight lines ma freen 🎣🐟🐟🐟
Another good video Gordon. Never fished the new pier but heard a lot about the ground being snaggy. I used to fish the old wooden jetty at Asco North base an got some good fish there, not sure if you can still get on there now tho. Looking forward to our next session out together, in slightly warmer conditions tho. All the best my friend for the new year.
Enjoyed that session, just what I needed to get out after Christmas. Thanks to everyone who has spurred us both on to get out fishing and making videos to share. All the best to everyone for 2025. My video will be published later this evening 😎
Thats odd I have never seen that 2 boats facing that way before any of the 20 or so times i have been down past there fro a look in the last 5-10yrs they have both been facing the other way
Not quite what | meant they usually sit exactly where they are (if theres only 2 in at the time) but both facing the opposite direction of what they are now...from what I have ever seen of them anyway. quite amazing things aint they....tell yuo what you should see if they will let you do a walk round video tour of one (or ideally all of them ie separate videos) would make for excellent channel content :)
