I was gonna make a "have a nice day" joke, but you did it well :P@@EddiesGameplay
The kitty is important and cute 🥺🥰
Granted
The kitty must have very good protection
The G3 family is amazing, reliable and sturdy.
😂😂😂

Sucks. Not reliable and stupidly heavy.
It looks cool its fun but if you say take this to a war or something, nah would take ak47 but not this.

I was originally obsessed with the hk53... this hk11 might be my new love interest now 👀
I still want a hk 51 for shits and giggles

Hk slap is something a man will never get tired of.
I saw a G3 clone in my gun shop one day and asked if I could slap it. The guy smiled at me and said go for it. Everyone loves the slap.
but german soldiers do not. It´s not silent at all. If you´re at night on patrol and have to reload, a furt from a squirrel should be louder than loading the gun.
Making noise is no option.@@ChickenSaladRimjob
@@marcushauschOfc, but you hk slap while in combat when stealth is not a priority anymore.
@@Vikingr91 ah thats why they all also wear pink suits in a war, and spoil theri positions all the time. We never did though. Beside that, is the slap thing not used at all.
Mag empty, mag out, pull back let go, fire.
No need to use the rest at all.
Just a shooting range thing in US i think.
After shooting on range, mag out, clear gun, safe enough. Ever seen a soldier using a red flag on his rifle ?
I never did, nor did anyone in german army.
The lever only is in back position when rifle is checked at the magazine before it´s stored away, and those guys, also never slap it, they do it like it is intended, without this american cowboy yippeahiheay thing.
We trained a lot how to do things, and under stress you will do it the same as you did in training. that´s the point in training. fancy social media HK-slaps aren´t what is the fastest or best. It wears out the G3 too. So it´s a nogo anyway.
I´ve been instructor for nearly a decade in the german army, so i do not know of course.
It's not great if you actually have to use the things and realize you're stuck doing MOUT with a gun that can't lock itself open on empty, drop its mag free with a single button press from your firing hand, or send it home without doing so manually.
HK guns take forever to run compared to more modern designs, and they're heavy as absolute fuck without much I return.
The G3 platform has gotta be on of the sexiest firearms ever imo.

How fast that bolt is exchangeable blows my mind. I never held that for possible - and that gun is so old! Wow.
My service rifle was G3, the serial number was 14680 if my memory serves me right, others had serial numbers in the 300000s and 400000s.
Mine is brand new from 1971
Them service g3s preety fucking crappy the one i have has the 191841 serial
My rifle was 1983 producting
Mine was in the 7000000s
Mine was 767065, can never forget
HK 11 LMG is still used in militaries utilizing the G3 as their main battle rifle. It's heavy, it's cumbersome, but it fires the 7.62x51 NATO caliber (same as G3A3/A4 rifles), so there are always available mags among the team members. Full auto fire is not recommended, since it's not belt-fed. It's advantage is the heavier barrel and longer effective range
Down in Mexico we used the G3 and FN FAL. 7.62 x 51 mm was a mean caliber. After my second year, my entire unit were issued the M4 and HK416. Apparently 5.56 is much safer in cities so we don't punch holes into people's buildings.
Lol that ending 💀
Thats fucking hard. Stay safe down there.
Brazil still in the needing for this lesson, we still issues FAL for MP's and you know... the rest.
There's a handful of countries adopting the 7.62 caliber round because their 5.56 caliber rifles weren't punching through enemy armor. Even flak jackets could withstand the smaller caliber. The 7.62 caliber on unarmored targets is vicious, so using it in urban warfare is a good way to make paste out of the local populace.
@@capsuleboi Well, not so much flak jackets. The 5.56 AP is pretty good, but not good enough at the ranges and armor levels that NATO forces now fight at. The 5.56 is really good at close-medium ranges, but the lessons taught in Iraq and Afghanistan showed that it's really good to be able to hit at 800 meters, and thanks to the profileration of powered optics it's possible for the regular grunt to reach there. As for the armor front, we thought Russia had good armor, but nowadays it's more China that seems to be investing heavily in their infantry
I saw a several g3s which were made in 70s and were still in service in 2018 😅
The standard issue of the Swedish Homeguard is still the G3 as well (though modified for the cold weather). But as Sweden is currently looking to replace their FN FNC variant the the FNCs might go to the Homeguard (but possibly not, as the Swedish armed forces seems to be going back to 7.62 NATO as standard issue)
@@dragon12234 7.62 is the go to option for armies. 5.56 is only good for special forces who fight close to mid ranges. I heard a french special force who worked in afghanistan their famas was very lacking in mountains cuz of the distance and impact.
@@lineasevenadam5009 yup. The Swedish Army is planning to relegate 5.56 to PDWs

So when "Black Hawk Down" occurred, the Americans were not only facing superior numbers on their home ground but also better small arms? Wow.
@@brianmccarthy5557 NOT ONLY THAT, the Gov at the time was as liberal with civilians having arms as The US, but The Americans lack the insanity and fearlessness of my people, death means little for Somalis, infact in 77 they took the whole of Ethipia and decimated their military and were about to invade the capital Addisababa when the soviets sent their military to intervene... if it didnt, Ethiop[ia today woyldve been annexed like Crimea, ALL MOSTLY DONE WITH G3s and AKs

"F" stands for Fleischsalat (meat salad).
There was a replacement magwell available that did make it belt fed.

This is the first time I have seen a G3 with a quick change barrel. That is very interesting.
"Freedom is measured in cyclic!"
Beautiful select fire H&K G3! Never seen one in person but that is cool af to see this classic.
"check baby kitty, much cute" has to be a regular phrase now. It works too well.
I have no idea why, but the G3 has always been one of my favourite guns. I have never fired a gun in my life, or even been near one, but for some reason I just really like what the G3 looks like.
Hk slap is pretty cool
The gun porn I was looking for to abandon regular porn.
I like the friendly way you present those guns (not overloaded with mAnLy testosterone)
But you are a cat-liking guy as well?!?!?!???

💁🏻♂️
this reminded me of the video of a guy speaking about guns in a serious tone then immediately switching to an exaggerated cutesie voice when he sees a black cat
You are a disappointment not only to your nation, but your mother and father as well.
Whats wrong with men who act like men?
His cat also has murder mittens!
Turn the lock pins holding the buttstock so they enter from the left side and exit to the right. If not, your body/gear will probably accidentally push them out during marching.
That barrel is crazy! I love it

i thought this video was great because it had the G3, but with cat it got even better
That action has been well used. It sounds so good. It’s almost the perfect gun sound. I say almost but I can’t think of a better one.
Can’t wait for you to get the licensing sorted to fire it 😍
Me too!
You can own it. But need another liscence to fire it?I'm confused by this statement. I know your in Canada but thats a weird system
@@Nayr72 Now he just needs a range that is licensed to discharge prohibit class weapons. All the respect in the world to him for maintaining a collection like this here in Canada.
You can own full auto firearms in Canada??!? I thought they were well strict with firearms now.
@@sourlemon3337 yes, but no.
Yes, in that it's possible. There is a license provision for prohibited firearms which would include full auto platforms. It is extremely expensive and tedious to acquire the appropriate credentials.
No, in that generally speaking, an individual cannot own such firearms, but a business can. There are exceptions under a "grandfathering" clause that allows people who owned a prohibited firearm before they were prohibited to to continue owning their firearm(s) of that classification, but as far as I remember, they aren't allowed to purchase new ones typically. They can, or could, also be passed down through inheritance which would allow the recipient to get the correct license provisions. As far as businesses go, it pretty much boils down to museums and movie armament suppliers. Average Joe does not get prohibs, especially these days. They want AR platforms/variants/"styled rifles" to be prohib, and they *technically* are right now, though fingers crossed not for much longer.
Hope that helped. Our laws make no sense. But they do cost a lot of dollars for some reason.
Still looks a little bit like the AK4 i lugged around 33 years ago doing my military service. Great puching power and precision!
I love the quickchange barrel, on the HK, 11
It’s super satisfying
Correction: The G3 He Told You Not To Worry About
Awww baby kitty!!!
The baby kitty with the weapon is SO BADASS!
As heavy and awkward to handle as a G3 is I imagine that his thing is much worse. But as a sucker for G3/HK91’s since childhood I must say this is one of the most aesthetically pleasing variants I’ve ever seen 😍
"Ill have what this fine man has"
So you can do a HK slap on each side? Niiice.
Old Bundeswehr saying: F is for Frieden (Peace) or Fleischsalat (meat salad).
Oof, that’s spicy. I’ll remember that one.
@@armandgun Pre political correctness Bundeswehr was pretty spicy. The training ammo for the Panzerfaust 3 was called "N-word dart", gas masks were "rubber pussys" and many more things you wouldn't say today anymore.
the end had me like "don't you flag that kitty!"
That definitely needs a drum mag👍
True black ops zombies fans know that weapon very well ❤
People look weirded out when I say that my favourite rifle is the G3. Its sad... but that just means that thy are too poor to buy H&K. I want one so so badly. Plus a HK21 because... do I even need to explain that?
G3's are nice, but I love my L1A1's and L2A1's
@@texanwokey8366 Completely understandable. You got some nice taste, sir.
@@EmilyChaosDrivr You too, should be Battle Rifle buddies and put down some commies together
Too poor to by one like yourself? Not everyone buys into overpriced hype guns, even if they can afford one.
@@EmilyChaosDrivr I have shot many rounds thru the G3 (in the Norwegian army), it is not very pleasant to shoot with. That said, it is pretty reliable and easy to maintain. The Norwegian army switched to HK416. Less recoil, better ergonomics (adjustable stock), but i preferred the front grip of the G3 over the HK416.
The military version MG8 can be belt fed. It also comes with a diferent receiver and spring. It is all interchangable. regular magazine, drum fed, or belt fed. Also comes with a scope. I loved it back then...
Definitely would like to see it with the drum magazine 🎉
In 2023 100 round drum mags for the G3,51,PTR runs about 300-500 bucks which is asinine I missbthe good ole 2000s where magazines could be had for next to nothing

Well thought out nice touches and easy change barrel. Carry three.
Does it only fire from a box magazine now?
Or are there also drums and belts for it?
Hk11 is box mag fed, but there were original drums designed for it. The hk21 is the beltfed version. Later versions were able to be reconfigured from mag to belt. Still on the hunt for one of those.
