Just grind Zeni it’s so easy or you could use shenron if you find the dragon balls or if you got ult or deluxe
You also get characters affiliated with each tournament mode. For instance, cell JR when you complete the cell games, Gogeta Z for other world tournament

You need to play 10 games with gogeta I have ssj4 gogeta already. After you play the 10 games go to zeno and accept the gift
You have to get to a certain level. I summoned Shenron and used the level up wish and more characters spawned in the shop
and also it won’t be hard at all since I wasn’t high leveled when I got him

You get all 7 dragon balls and it gives you a wish like a charge. You can stack wishes by keep getting dragon balls
does the difficulty level of episode battles affect the rewards you earn?
Doing the story missions is also a great way to get characters from the store. (Screw Oozaru Vegeta, super armor sucks)
