- TNA iMPACT Figures were Marvel Toy Biz second foray into the pro wrestling figure market. Things were going well for Marvel Toys, who recently changed their name from Toy Biz when -- Hasbro and Marvel announced that they would be going forward with a new relationship, ending Marvel's contract with Marvel Toys one year early! Did TNA figures survive? Did Marvel Toys survive? These TNA figures where the first Real Scale Wrestling figures in the Business/Market. I loved them.
This video was fantastic, dude. Excellent job. This channel deserves waaaaaay more subscribers, and this video deserves way more views. I want to spend a shit load of money collecting the ones I don't have now, but I won't. I mean.... I can't! Great stuff.

I remember only getting Hardy, Christian, Jarrett, Brown, Shark Boy, and Rhino. These toys were a blast to have when i was younger.
I store all of my Toybiz WCW figures in the same bin as all my Marvel Toybiz TNA figures. They all go really well together. Makes me wanna bust out the ol' ring and play lol

Great look at this line. Honestly, this line has some real gems. Rhino is better than any of the ones Mattel has made since. Cool video!

out of these I remember having:
Jeff Jarrett (his guitar broke and I couldn't get it back together...so I superglued it. Bad idea.)
AJ Styles (blue gear w/ blue/black coat)
Chris Sabin (white gear)
Monty Brown (red gear, IIRC came with a table which I lost pieces to?)
Kevin Nash (INCREDIBLE FIGURE! Used it for years before finally getting a Diesel in his latest released elite)
Rhino (one of my fave figures of all time, better than any WWE one put out)
Samoa Joe (Brown gear, better than nearly any WWE released version of him)
Elix Skipper (TRU exclusive, amazing mobility on him)
Jay Lethal (brown variant, wish I had the other one tho as the brown gear looks awful IMO)
Sonjay Dutt (good figure but I never really found a proper usage for him.)
Konnan/BG James tag pack (these figures SUCKED for mobility. Bought at an indie show in 2011 and one of their arms broke instantly. I feel I got ripped off with those two)
I really wish I could get some of the others tho like Petey Williams, Alex Shelley, Matt Bentley, etc. I just want all the ones that only ever had one figure!

I have the three rings shown here. I went to see Lockdown 2013 live and got the box signed by TNA Talent. I have a good collection of TNA figures as well as WWF and WCW. Great video!!
The Jakks TNA figures were pretty cool too!

These figures look better than a lot of wrestling figures that are out today.
I never watched tna back then, but I remember owning raven series 1 and monty brown series 3. I had more wwe action figures than any other wrestling brand. I remember I had the standard spring wwe ring as well. Great time in wrestling. Even though it wasn't the attitude era.
Till this day BEST toy line for wrestling and I've had the LJN WWF toys growing up, WCW late 90s line but these were so much fun to play with 😁
I had most of these. Why did I always sell my collections and then start collecting again. 🤦♂️ I’ve had some awesome collections the last 20+ years.
That Series 3 Raven with the straight jacket is probably my alltime favorite non WWE figure
Toy Biz owed Raven after what they did to him for his WCW figure. Spot on attire but awful awful head.
I owned a few of these. I had blue tights Christian with the ring, Jeff Hardy (the first Jeff and the one that came with Abyss), the Samoa Joe and AJ Styles two pack, Billy Gu- I mean Kip James, D-Von Dudley, Abyss, and Kevin Nash. Sadly, some of them broke, and I had to glue parts back together, but hey, as a kid, I loved these. Always wanted that green armbands variant of Jeff Hardy.
My holy grail of wrestling figure collecting is to one day have a complete TNA ToyBiz collection including all the variants (actually variants not just the chases) and the cancelled prototypes

I had the exclusive Christopher Daniels when I was a kid. I got it in a figure trade in the mail and thought he was maven lol... Wish I watched TNA more often back then

Thank you for this review. For some reason I missed out on these figures. I don't even remember even seeing them in stores/Toys R Us. Kinda sucks because this line looks damn good. I especially like the Abyss figure. One gripe is HOW MANY AJ Styles did they need? Yeesh. R.Killings too. Even though, they had a few too many of a couple guys, they really did have a decent line-up.

The Marvel/ToyBiz TNA figures seemed like they were produced by 5 different companies.
I always wanted them to make a six sided ring but with real scale, like the wwe ones. The thought of it is just sick

I love that there's a Chase Stevens with no Andy Douglas, a Devon with no Ray and a Homicide with no Hernandez. At least Hernandez was planned

I'm gonna be the only one who thinks this, but I think this line was ahead of its time. It was the first truly articulated line of wrestling figures
Especially as I believe these came out before the deluxe aggression line

Marvel Toys didn't pay their tooling bills. That's what sunk them. I use to work for them and have that shirtless Sting. I didn't know it was unreleased. Time for some $$$. Great detective work on the video.

I have a sinister minister that my girlfriend got me. It cost like 50$, it was worth it. It was such a good figure imo

I just found the Best of Series 2 Raven around the 2:41 mark on eBay and just noticed the packaging still says "& straight jacket" even tho this variant includes a tna shirt instead.
It still bugs me that the BFG 2006 Sting figure was never released. Same with that Kurt Angle. Maybe Jazwares can release their version of that Sting to right that wrong someday soon.
How do the series 5-8 figures hold up next to mattel elites scale wise?

These figures were ahead of their time and I still think they hold up when comparing them to the Jazewares AEW figures ir the wwe Mattel figures

I only got 2 Stings, RVD, and Hulk Hogan. I wish I could've got more I like my TNA figures a lot

The two pack Jarrett figure with Sting looks like Steve Corino.
The bashin brawlers line wasn't talked about that featured a talking Kevin Nash, Christian, Samoa Joe and Sting. Series 2 thar was un released was supposed to feature an AJ and Rhino release.

Man! TNA was red hot in 2008-2011. Just imagine the action figures that Marvel Toyz could've produced; the Main Event Mafia pack. Jakks Pacific action figures were cool and meh! I was over with them by 2008 after the figure would come apart.

I got the Abyss vs Jeff Hardy 2 pack at Universal Studios when I was younger. Unfortunately, I broke them both eventually.

Jeff Hardy and Abyss had some badass hardcore matches back in his first run with TNA. The ones from like 05 and 06.

They're tad bit short. I have the jeff hardy compared with jungle boy. Their proportions don't match as well.

I like them even tho some are shaped weird. I didn't like how they made them all in different shapes. Some with more articulation than others

Does anyone know that if the raven (short haired) is gimmick or a normal figure?
Id assume gimmick since the body mold is the same as the long haired one. There is no lever on it's back, but the arm has a sort of uppercut action.

Joseph Gosewisch I remember getting a Christian and Rhyno 2 pack and as soon as I opened it, Rhynos leg fell clean off. Still have my shark boy figure though! He was used as Rey Mysterio for years until I found the real Rey in stores lol

The quality in the plastic was obvious.

Jakks did make one Best of WCW and one Best of ECW series in 2005. Really cool sets. Wish they would have made more.
