Well it does show the difference between ballistic and energy, and even how combo weapons work. The pepper shaker with the laser barrel still looked like it registered as ballistic damage. It's generally lower damage, but still got chewed put like no tomorrow. The plasma weapons did well overall, but got slowed down in their normal effect. Considering that the 1v1 duels is often done with auto axe, then it stands to reason that it will in theory be a nightmare with reflective. It also showed the heavy ballistic roots of the gauss weapons. Even if it is just a casual test, it still gave a lot of information.

@@highermedia yes anything that isn’t an actual bullet or explosive mod weapon, for an example creamtor if uou shoot the area around them and not at them your fine and I believe you canh deflect fire as well I know you are able to deflect poison and melee damage but I tnknk you are able to also deflect energy as well but like fire your fine
@@xcali9x808 yes it does because it raises the chances of richochet by a percent so basically since it just raises the chances against anything it will work the way it is meant too!

So this is why on the pts they are reworking reflective to have a hard damage cap on reflected damage and a cd on reflect effect

So using a non-ballistic weapon is a hard counter? Energy for example doesn't get reflected back at all?

The counter to reflective is explosive like missile launchers and grenade launchers
