I played this Now United song in my live dj set at my club last night. NU are unfortunately virtually unknown in my country atm but recently I have slowly started helping try raise their profile by playing their songs as often as I can at my gigs to help more people become exposed and familiar to them by adding their songs to my club's top rotation list. The plan is to try turn them into more of us Uniters!! This song in particular- as well as Lean On Me and Parana- seemed to get a great reaction last night on my dance floor. I still need a bit more time to help build up the songs's popularities each weekeend but in a few more weeks and perhaps in 2-3 months, my regulars at the club will soon be knowing all the words. Its excoting what's to come....I want to help make them more famous here in my city because they deserve it! Hey Uniters....it's been 2+ months since my last post and I wanna update you on my progress. It's been GREAT! 2 months ago none of my friends and regulars to my club gigs here in Hong Kong knew ANY Now United songs. Fast forward to today and they now know many! Some of their songs have struggled to gain momentum like Dana Dana, Future Me, Let The Music Move You and a few others...however... The one that they all sing along to now is Beautiful Life...especially the la la la parts. They are all familiar with Parana and One Love now and go wild when I play them and have become a room favourites. The bar staff, their personal favourite is Lean On Me. The crowd seem vaguely familiar with How Far We've Come, By My Side, Afraid of Letting Go and Summer in the City. Pas Les Choix has become a song that entices those first few people at the early start of the night onto the floor. But the BIG hit is without a doubt All Day. Everyone in the room knows all the words now and sing along to it at the top of their voices....its incredible to witness it in action when I drop the song in my live dj sets each weekend! It would blow your minds how 2 months ago none of them knew the song and now the while room knows every word. It's quite the spectacle to see with your own eyes! Just goes to show that 2+ months of hard work, a dream and persistence from a humble local DJ like me (I count myself a a bona fide Uniter for sure) can do to turn NU from an unknown band into a recognizable popstars here that are starting to gain bigger recognition in my country. It's been an incredible journey guiding my followers on my floor here in Hong Kong into getting more familiar with their songs and consequntially the band. I knew in my heart I could do it but that it would be hard but also that it was going to take time. I have videos of the whole dancefloor going CRAZY to ALL Day on my phone. But honestly...I owe this success to YOU my fellow Uniters who kept encouraging me here to not give up and be courageous and not afraid to risk bombing my sets to keep trying to break NU here. Their faves are Beautiful Life and One Love but the undisputed MVP champion song that has translated best to my floor that my beloved HONG Kongers have grown to LOVE...is All Day! I played this Now United song in my live dj set at my club last night. NU are unfortunately virtually unknown in my country atm but recently I have slowly started helping try raise their profile by playing their songs as often as I can at my gigs to help more people become exposed and familiar to them by adding their songs to my club's top rotation list. The plan is to try turn them into more of us Uniters!! This song in particular- as well as Lean On Me and Parana- seemed to get a great reaction last night on my dance floor.
I still need a bit more time to help build up the songs's popularities each weekeend but in a few more weeks and perhaps in 2-3 months, my regulars at the club will soon be knowing all the words. Its excoting what's to come....I want to help make them more famous here in my city because they deserve it!

Hey Uniters....it's been 2+ months since my last post and I wanna update you on my progress. It's been GREAT! 2 months ago none of my friends and regulars to my club gigs here in Hong Kong knew ANY Now United songs. Fast forward to today and they now know many! Some of their songs have struggled to gain momentum like Dana Dana, Future Me, Let The Music Move You and a few others...however...
The one that they all sing along to now is Beautiful Life...especially the la la la parts. They are all familiar with Parana and One Love now and go wild when I play them and have become a room favourites. The bar staff, their personal favourite is Lean On Me. The crowd seem vaguely familiar with How Far We've Come, By My Side, Afraid of Letting Go and Summer in the City. Pas Les Choix has become a song that entices those first few people at the early start of the night onto the floor.
But the BIG hit is without a doubt All Day. Everyone in the room knows all the words now and sing along to it at the top of their voices....its incredible to witness it in action when I drop the song in my live dj sets each weekend! It would blow your minds how 2 months ago none of them knew the song and now the while room knows every word. It's quite the spectacle to see with your own eyes!
Just goes to show that 2+ months of hard work, a dream and persistence from a humble local DJ like me (I count myself a a bona fide Uniter for sure) can do to turn NU from an unknown band into a recognizable popstars here that are starting to gain bigger recognition in my country. It's been an incredible journey guiding my followers on my floor here in Hong Kong into getting more familiar with their songs and consequntially the band. I knew in my heart I could do it but that it would be hard but also that it was going to take time.

But honestly...I owe this success to YOU my fellow Uniters who kept encouraging me here to not give up and be courageous and not afraid to risk bombing my sets to keep trying to break NU here. We did it together you guys! I even have folks in the bar now come up to me in the dj booth not only talk to me about NU but also REQUEST them. Their faves are Beautiful Life and One Love but the undisputed MVP champion song that has translated best to my floor that my beloved HONG Kongers have grown to LOVE...is All Day! What a BANGER of a underrated pop masterpiece!
